Support system and system of connection elements for connecting supports
A support system includes supports and connection elements for interconnecting the supports. The supports are interconnected by plug connections. The interacting plug connection components that form the plug connection include at least one plug element and at least one plug receptacle. Each connection element is established on a support and has at least one plug connection component. The support system has first connection elements, the at least one plug connection component of which is disposed on a longitudinal side of the assigned support. The support system has second connection elements, the at least one plug connection component of which are disposed on an end side of the assigned support, and the second connection elements are selectively connectable to a first connection element or to a further second connection element. A system of connection elements includes first connection elements as well as second connection elements.
SUPPORTING ACCESSORIES FOR CEILING STRUCTURES
A light fixture for mounting in a t-bar ceiling structure, the light fixture includes a housing configured to support a ring-shaped lens to at least partially surround an inner reflective surface, the inner reflective surface being configured to at least partially reflect light incident thereon from the lens, to present a mirage effect in a transition zone near the lens.
SUSPENDED CEILING CONNECTORS FOR UNIQUE GRID DESIGNS
A ceiling beam connector that permits the incorporation of ornamental panel designs such as triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids into suspended ceilings. The connector has a faceplate attached to either two arms or a leg. The leg is attached to either the faceplate or an arm at an acute angle measured from an axis perpendicular to the faceplate. To maintain standard beam lengths and rout spacing at 2 foot, 3 foot, or 4 foot (61 cm, 91 cm, or 122 cm) beam spacing, the leg may project out at the following angles measured from the axis: about 14.0, about 18.4, about 26.6, about 30.3, about 45.0, about 59.7, about 63.4, about 71.6, or about 76.0.
CEILING SYSTEM HAVING A PLURALITY OF DIFFERENT PANELS
A ceiling system is provided for use in a building space having a plurality of walls. The ceiling system includes a grid system that extends to at least two of the plurality of walls and separates the building space into an occupiable space below the grid system and a plenum space above the grid system; and a plurality of ceiling tiles that are supported by the grid system and, with the grid system, create a barrier between the occupiable space and the plenum space, the plurality of ceiling tiles including three different polygonal non-rectangular ceiling tiles
BRACKET ASSEMBLY FOR BRACING TWO STRUCTURES
A bracket assembly (2) for bracing a building component (3, 71) to a building structure (42), the assembly comprising a first connecting portion (4) having at least two protruding portions (6, 8) joined by a joining portion (10), each protruding portion (6, 8) connectable to a respective bracing element (44, 46) and a second connecting portion (12) having at least one depending portion (16, 18) and linked to said first connecting portion (4), said at least one depending portion (16, 18) for connection to said building component (3, 71).
ACOUSTICALLY TRANSPARENT SANDABLE COATING
A formulation for an acoustically transparent coating for use on an acoustical substrate comprising a water dispersible binder and relatively large filler particles, and characterized by a high pigment to volume concentration, high viscosity, high shear thinning, and fast drying to enable the formulation to be sprayed in droplets that retain their identity when in mutual contact and in a dry coating can be efficiently sanded flat.
SUPPORT MEMBER FOR CEILING SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to support members for ceiling systems, such as those that can be formed into an interconnected grid to be suspended from a ceiling and support ceiling tiles. One aspect of the disclosure is a linearly-extending support member for a ceiling tile. The support member has a cross-sectional shape that includes a substantially vertical central web with a top end and a bottom end; at least one flange extending substantially horizontally from the bottom end of the web, the flange having an upper surface and a lower surface; and a bulb extending from the top end of the web, the bulb having a first side and a second side with a cavity therebetween, the bulb having an upper portion and a lower portion adjacent the top end of the web, wherein the entire lower portion of the bulb is narrower than the upper portion of the bulb and wider than the central web, the bulb comprising a series of spaced apertures formed therein through both the first side and the second side of the bulb, each aperture being disposed at least partially in the lower portion of the bulb, each aperture having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion of the aperture is rounded.
ANGLED BRACKET FOR A FIRE SPRINKLER SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A fire sprinkler support assembly is provided. In some approaches, the fire sprinkler support assembly may include a bracket bar extending transverse to a beam, and a bracket assembly coupled to the bracket bar. The bracket assembly may include an upper wall and a set of plates extending from the upper wall, wherein the set of plates have a first end coupled to the bracket bar. An interior angle between the set of plates and the bracket bar is less than 90 degrees (e.g., 80-85). The bracket assembly may further include a seating frame extending from a second end of the set of plates, the seating frame including a first member and a second member disposed on opposite sides of the beam. The fire sprinkler support assembly may further include a fastener extending through an opening of the upper wall to couple the set of plates to the bracket bar.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR A T-BAR GRID ARRANGEMENT
A multifunctional lighting assembly is configured with optical components such as lenses and reflectors mounted within an elongate body that serves as a cross tee within a T-bar grid arrangement. Protrusions of the elongate body are used to position optical components and embodiments provide for the slidable mounting of optical components. Further embodiments provide for the support of ceiling panels within a suspended ceiling system, connection to a structural ceiling, and inclusion of further components such as sensors, electronic controllers, and wireless modules.
System to mount ceiling tiles in a completely concealed grid system where individual tile can be mounted or dismounted
A method for installation of ceiling tiles in an improved mounting hook assembly to form a concealed grid system, the mounting hook assembly being attachable to a mounting stud (1) having recess on top portion to accommodate screws and fixed at the back of each tiles. The method includes attaching the mounting hook assembly to the tile; rotating a load bearing lever member; rotating a positioning lever member to position the load bearing member on a flange of a T grid bar; and fixing the tile below the T grid at a distance that is greater than the thickness of the tile so that when the tile is lifted up, the load bearing lever are returned to a position above the flange level of the T grid and any tile can be removed or installed in totally concealed grid system without dislocating tiles already laid.
