LIGHTING FIXTURE
A luminaire is mechanically attached to a mounting structure, mounted and positioned to illuminate a space adjacent to the luminaire The luminaire comprises at least one light source mounted on a substrate, and a thermal bus transporting heat from the substrate to a heat sink that is veiled from view. The at least one light source and the substrate are exposed to, and illuminate, the space. Another disclosed luminaire includes LEDs and a fixture on which the LEDs are disposed. The fixture is configured to install onto a grid of a suspension ceiling by hooking or clamping onto the grid of the suspension ceiling with the LEDs disposed on the installed fixture facing downward from the suspension ceiling.
Ceiling grid system
A ceiling grid system as part of a suspended ceiling having a plurality of ceiling panels includes main runners and cross-runners oriented transverse to each other and forming a two-dimensional array having openings, each opening defining a position within the suspended ceiling in which a ceiling panel is disposed, the main runners and the cross-runners being configured to attach to each other and to be fixed in the horizontal plane in the physical space, each one of a plurality of panel support members is connected with a main runner or a cross-runner and is configured to support one of the ceiling panels, each panel support member is movable in a rotatable or linear manner with respect to the main runner or the cross-runner to facilitate the installation or removal of one of the ceiling panel with respect to its predetermined position within the suspended ceiling.
BRACKET FOR ANGLED CEILING PANELS AND CEILING PANEL SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates generally to ceiling panel brackets, for example, suitable for forming a ceiling surface by supporting a plurality of ceiling panels. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a bracket configured to couple a ceiling panel to a ceiling grid. The bracket includes a support arm configured to extend over a first flange of a T-beam of the ceiling grid and an attachment wall extending up from the support arm. The attachment wall is configured to be secured to a web of the T-beam. A leg extends down from the support arm so as to hang below the T-beam. A foot is coupled to the leg and configured to be attached to the ceiling panel. The foot is disposed at a first angle with respect to the support arm so as to hold the ceiling panel at an angle to the ceiling grid.
Ceiling façade system
A ceiling façade system includes: a ceiling tile including an interior panel defining a first edge extending along a first side of the ceiling tile and a second edge extending along a second side of the ceiling tile opposite the first edge, a heating element, and an insulator layer arranged over the heating element opposite the interior panel; a first receiver extending along and configured to support the first side of the ceiling tile on a linear lighting track arranged on a ceiling structure and configured to locate the first edge of the interior panel adjacent and partially concealing the linear lighting track; and a second receiver extending along and configured to support the second side of the ceiling tile on a linear seam track arranged on the ceiling structure, the linear seam track laterally offset from the linear lighting track.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR A YOKE STRUCTURE IN A CEILING SUSPENSION
A yoke for a ceiling suspension system is disclosed. For example, the yoke may include a yoke body having an upper end configured to be mounted only to another yoke, or to an extension mounted to the other yoke. The yoke body may have a lower end having a first mount configured to be mounted to a first ceiling support member (CSM), and a second mount configured to be mounted to a second CSM that differs from the first CSM. In one version, no portion of the yoke body extends through any portion of the first CSM and the second CSM.
Lighting Arrangement for a Suspended Ceiling Grid System Containing Decorative Co-Planar Ceiling Components
A method of creating a sculpted decorative ceiling with lighting fixtures in a suspended ceiling grid utilizing ceiling components constructed with structural side elements and a floor, forming a cavity that extends downward three to five inches. Each individual component has a perimeter installation flange enabling it to be installed into a new or existing ceiling grid system cell. The said components esthetic contours and functional structural side elements, as well as the size of the perimeter installation flange create space(s) between installed components, throughout an entire ceiling arrangement of said components or in specific areas of arrangements of said components, for luminesce channel(s) in which may be positioned one or more lighting fixtures, or combinations of lighting fixtures, attached to the room facing surfaces of the cross tee or main runner flanges that comprise the ceiling grid structural assembly. Components may have floor perimeter shapes approximately equal in area to the entire ceiling grid cell, or they may have floors perimeter shapes occupying only part of the ceiling grid cell with a filler section at right angles to the structural side elements of the component that extend co-planer to the perimeter installation flange. Ceiling components can come in a variety of floor profile shapes allowing the construction of a wide variety of arrangements in the suspended ceiling grid. The side panels and the floor can be created with a wide variety of decorative surfaces.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WALL SUPPORT OF CEILING SUSPENSION GRID
A wall support for a ceiling support grid with grid members is disclosed. Each grid member can have a top with a bulb, a web extending downward from the bulb, and a bottom with a flange extending from the web opposite the bulb. Examples of the wall support may include a bracket having a C-shaped channel with a back, a lower flange at a lower end of the back, and an upper flange at an upper end of the back. In addition, the bracket may include only one tab in the lower flange for each grid member. The only one tab may be configured to engage and retain the flange of a respective grid member. The grid member may rest on the lower flange. The lower flange may have no other features for positive engagement with and retention of the flange of the respective grid member.
EDGELIT MULTIFUNCTIONAL LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
An edgelit multifunctional lighting assembly is configured as a cross tee within a suspended ceiling system and supports at least one ceiling panel and is configurable to produce symmetric and asymmetric targeted light distributions for narrow and wide angle illumination applications.
Ceiling tile system
Ceiling tile system for acoustic modification.
Ceiling Tile with Integrated Baffle
Ceiling tiles for drop ceilings are disclosed. The ceiling tiles have a main portion that is sized and adapted to fit within a grid of the drop ceiling, and a baffle that hangs down from the main portion. A sheet of tile material may have a plurality of fold lines defined in it that allow the sheet to fold in such a way as to define the main portion and the baffle. In the flat configuration, the sheet of tile material may have the dimensions of a standard drop ceiling tile; in the folded configuration, the ceiling tiles may also have standard ceiling-tile dimensions. A single ceiling tile may have two or more baffles, and those baffles may be staggered in position with respect to one another.
