ANTIMICROBIAL AND ANTIVIRAL BUILDING PANELS
Described herein is a building panel comprising: a substrate, and a coating applied to the substrate, the coating comprising a blend of an antimicrobial composition, a binder, and a pigment, wherein the antimicrobial composition consists essentially of zinc borate.
Ceiling Tile with Integrated Baffle
Ceiling tiles for drop ceilings are disclosed. The ceiling tiles have a main portion that is sized and adapted to fit within a grid of the drop ceiling, and a baffle that hangs down from the main portion. The ceiling tiles may be arranged such that they can be made, shipped, and sold in a flat configuration and folded into a three-dimensional configuration with the down-hanging baffle for installation. For example, a sheet of tile material may have a plurality of fold lines defined in it that allow the sheet to fold in such a way as to define the main portion and the baffle. In the flat configuration, the sheet of tile material may have the dimensions of a standard drop ceiling tile; in the folded configuration, the ceiling tiles may also have standard ceiling-tile dimensions. A single ceiling tile may have two or more baffles, and those baffles may be staggered in position with respect to one another.
CEILING FAÇADE SYSTEM
A ceiling façade system includes: a ceiling tile including an interior panel defining a first edge extending along a first side of the ceiling tile and a second edge extending along a second side of the ceiling tile opposite the first edge, a heating element, and an insulator layer arranged over the heating element opposite the interior panel; a first receiver extending along and configured to support the first side of the ceiling tile on a linear lighting track arranged on a ceiling structure and configured to locate the first edge of the interior panel adjacent and partially concealing the linear lighting track; and a second receiver extending along and configured to support the second side of the ceiling tile on a linear seam track arranged on the ceiling structure, the linear seam track laterally offset from the linear lighting track.
System for magnetic mounting and registration of sensors to grid ceilings
A system for repeatably mounting an image sensor to a grid ceiling comprising: a mounting member defining an upper face; a set of magnets fixed to the upper face and characterized by a height greater than a protrusion distance of the outer surface of a ceiling tile of the grid ceiling below a grid segment of the grid ceiling; a detachable registration feature transiently coupled to the mounting member, configured to align with the grid ceiling while the set of magnetics are magnetically coupled to the grid ceiling, configured to adhere to the grid ceiling while the set of magnets are magnetically coupled to the grid ceiling, and configured to detach from the upper face and remain adhered to the grid ceiling in response to vertical displacement of the mounting member away from the grid ceiling.
PARTIALLY LIGHTED T-BAR
The partially lit T-bar includes a spine with a rest shelf at a lower portion thereof. The rest shelf supports adjacent ceiling tiles. The under surface of the rest shelf includes a lighting module on a portion and a plain unlit undersurface on other portions. Additional T-bars which are shorter, and typically fully lit or fully unlit and half the length of the partially lit T-bar are also provided which can attach at ends or near a midpoint of the partially lit T-bar and typically perpendicularly thereto. A great variety of lighting patterns in a dropped ceiling is thus facilitated. Each of the T-bars preferably also includes a heat sink on an upper portion of the spine and also preferably a lower heat sink on an upper portion of the rest shelf. Heat associated with the light element of the T-bar can thus be drawn away from a space below the ceiling.
CEILING GRID STRUCTURAL MEMBER AND CEILING GRID ASSEMBLY
A ceiling grid strut is provided that includes a rail and a strut channel that is integral to the rail. A ceiling grid assembly is provided that includes a first ceiling grid strut, a second ceiling grid strut, a first threaded fastener, a second threaded fastener, and a connector.
System, method and apparatus for wall support of ceiling suspension grid
A ceiling suspension system is disclosed and includes a plurality of grid members configured to form a grid for the ceiling suspension system, each grid member comprising a bulb, a web and a flange. The system also includes a plurality of wall support brackets configured to mount the grid to walls in a structure. Each wall support bracket comprises a vertical back, a lower flange at a lower end of the vertical back, and an upper flange at an upper end of the vertical back. Further, the upper flange is generally V-shaped when viewed longitudinally and each wall support bracket only one tab in the lower flange for each grid member. Moreover, the only one tab is configured to engage and retain the flange of a respective grid member, such that the respective grid member rests on the lower flange.
HIGH SOUND ATTENUATION BUILDING PANELS
Described herein is an acoustic ceiling panel comprising: a first air-permeable body comprising a first major surface opposite a second major surface and a side surface extending between the first and second major surfaces, the first body having an NRC value of at least 0.5 as measured between the first and second major surfaces of the first body; and an attenuation coating applied to the second major surface of the body and the side surface of the body, whereby the attenuation coating seals at least a portion of the second major surface and the side surface of the body.
Acoustic insulation product comprising a backing layer
An acoustic insulation product includes a panel made of porous material, based on foam or fibres, including a first face, referred to as back face, intended to face towards a wall, and a second face, referred to as front face, situated on the opposite side to the back face, and a layer, referred to as backing layer, which adheres to or is linked or coupled at least in part to the back face of the panel made of porous material, the backing layer having an airflow resistance of between 5 kPa.Math.s/m and 20 kPa.Math.s/m.
