Suspended drywall ceiling grid system support members
A support member for a suspended drywall ceiling grid system includes a central web formed of two layers of sheet metal having first and second ends, a reinforcement bulb extending from an upper portion of the central web between the first and second ends, opposed flanges extending from a lower portion of the central web between the first and second ends, first and second end connectors integral with the central web and extending from the first and second ends of the central web, respectively, past the flanges, each of the opposed flanges having an upper surface and a knurled lower surface between the central web and a rolled edge portion, and each rolled edge portion having an initial region tilted downward and outward and extending into a curved region, wherein the curved region is rolled upward and inward and terminates in an outer edge toward the initial region.
SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM, SECURING MEMBERS, AND PROCESS OF INSTALLING A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system which includes a substrate and securing members configured to engage a grid system to mount the substrate to the grid system. The securing members may include a mounting flange positioned with its bottom surface adjacent to the substrate. The mounting flange may be coupled to the substrate via fasteners. The securing members may further include a positioning member protruding from a top surface of the mounting flange and terminating in a distal edge. The positioning member may have a first side edge and a second side edge. The securing members may include a grid engagement member extending from the distal edge of the positioning member. The grid engagement member may be located centrally between the first and second side edges of the positioning member. The grid engagement member may have a U-shaped engagement portion configured to engage a grid member of the grid system.
Longspan stay-in-place liners
A structure-lining apparatus comprising a plurality of transversely and longitudinally extending panels connectable to a structure and connectable edge-to-edge via complementary connector components on their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises transversely extending edges generally orthogonal to their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises first and second complementary connector components on first and second longitudinally extending edges thereof. The apparatus comprises at least one edge-to-edge connection between a first connector component of a first panel and a second connector component of a second panel wherein a primary male connector component of the second connector component of the second panel is extended into a primary female connector component of the first connector component of the first panel and a secondary male connector component of the first connector component of the first panel is extended into a secondary female connector component of the second connector component of the second panel.
CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system including a carrier component and at least one removably mounted thereto. The carrier component may extend along a first longitudinal axis and may have a body portion and a plurality of support members extending from the body portion in a spaced apart manner along the first longitudinal axis. The at least one panel may be removably mounted to the carrier component by simultaneous engagement with a first support member of the plurality of support members and a second support member of the plurality of support members. At least a portion of the first and second support members may be located within a cavity of the at least one panel when the at least one panel is mounted to the carrier component.
Suspension ceiling with parallel vanes for building structures
A suspended ceiling system for a building structure includes a plurality of parallel struts for supporting a plurality of parallel vanes suspended from the struts in perpendicular relationship thereto. The vanes can be suspended in downwardly spaced relationship to the struts or in contiguous relationship therewith and occur in different forms including illuminated vanes, adjustable vanes and the like.
THERMAL AND/OR FIRE RESISTANT PANEL, A MOUNTING ASSEMBLY, AND A KIT
Disclosed herein is a thermal and/or fire resistant panel comprising: a panel body comprising a fire resistant composition, wherein the fire resistant composition comprises: a silane cross-linked hybrid inorganic polymer; and a siloxane.
Stiffener for Construction Elements
A stiffener 50 for construction elements for providing resistance against deflection and cracking is disclosed comprising a U-shaped cross-section with a web 10 and two flanges 20a, 20b extending transversely from the web 10 and having ribs 30 rising parallel, perpendicular or diagonal from the flanges 20a, 20b. The stiffener 50 is configured to be fixed within the construction element. A drywall stud and a ceiling section provided with a plurality of stiffeners 50 of the present disclosure spaced at desired locations along their length is also disclosed. Such drywall studs and ceiling sections comprising stiffeners 50 of the present disclosure reduce deflection of drywall partition and suspended ceiling system, respectively by up to 50%.
SUSPENDED CEILING PANEL HOLDING CLIP
A hold down clip for retaining one or more ceiling panels on lower flanges of a suspended ceiling tee and allowing removal of the ceiling panels from below after installation. The hold down clip includes at least one outward curved section with a crest between an upper end and a lower end. The clip elastically deforms to produce reactive spring forces when a ceiling panel engages a contact point below the crest of the outward curved section. The clip also includes at least one continuously formed latching section, which may extend from the upper end, lower end, or a transition point below the crest of the outward curved section. The latching section engages the grid tee to generate the spring force. Alternatively, the clip includes a fastener secured to the at least one outward curved section. The fastener is configured for threaded attachment to a receptacle of the grid tee.
