FLAME RETARDANT CLEAR COATINGS FOR BUILDING PANELS
Described herein is a flame-retardant building panel comprising a body having a first major surface opposite a second major surface, an inorganic coating atop the first major surface, the inorganic coating being optically transparent and flame retardant and comprising a silicate compound; and wherein the inorganic flame retardant coating is substantially transparent such that the first major surface of the body is visible through the inorganic coating.
Ceiling tile with integrated baffle
Ceiling tiles for drop ceilings are disclosed. The ceiling tiles have a main portion that is sized and adapted to fit within a grid of the drop ceiling, and a baffle that hangs down from the main portion. A sheet of tile material may have a plurality of fold lines defined in it that allow the sheet to fold in such a way as to define the main portion and the baffle. In the flat configuration, the sheet of tile material may have the dimensions of a standard drop ceiling tile; in the folded configuration, the ceiling tiles may also have standard ceiling-tile dimensions. A single ceiling tile may have two or more baffles, and those baffles may be staggered in position with respect to one another.
Smoke baffle system
A system and corresponding method for suspending a set of panels. The system includes a mounting rail with a base having a first side and a second side. The first side of the base defines a planar surface configured to be secured against a structural support member and the second side includes a curved surface. The system also includes an alignment rail with a curved base, the alignment rail rotatably secured to the mounting rail along a pair of curved mating surfaces. The pair of curved mating surfaces is formed from the curved surface of the mounting rail and the curved base of the alignment rail. Additionally, the system includes a panel secured to the alignment rail.
Ceiling baffle apparatus and ceiling baffle system for a dynamic acoustic ceiling and methods thereof
A dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle system, that includes multiple shaped baffles that can be quickly and easily installed onto construction ceiling hangers without the need for additional tools, to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, such as an undulating image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
FLAME RETARDANT CLEAR COATINGS FOR BUILDING PANELS
Described herein is a barrier coating composition comprising an organic blend comprising a first component and a second component, the first component comprising latex polymer and the second component being selected from polyurethane emulsion, wax emulsion, and alkyd emulsion, wherein the first component and the second component are present in a weight ratio ranging from about 2:1 to about 20:1, and the latex polymer has a glass transition temperature of less than about 18° C.
Suspension ceiling with parallel vanes for building structures
A suspended ceiling system for a building structure includes a plurality of parallel struts for supporting a plurality of parallel vanes suspended from the struts in perpendicular relationship thereto. The vanes can be suspended in downwardly spaced relationship to the struts or in contiguous relationship therewith and occur in different forms including illuminated vanes, adjustable vanes and the like.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC HIGH NRC ACOUSTIC LOCKING WALL TILE AND METHODS THEREOF
A locking dynamic high NRC acoustic baffle and/or tile and a locking dynamic high NRC ceiling and/or wall system, that includes a single piece of material folded into locking dynamic high NRC acoustic baffles and/or tiles, using locking pieces and locking mechanisms, to quickly and easily install the locking dynamic high NRC acoustic baffle and/or tile onto construction ceiling hangers or onto walls to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
Ceiling tile with integrated baffle
Ceiling tiles for drop ceilings are disclosed. The ceiling tiles have a main portion that is comprised of a sheet of material, such as tile material, and a baffle portion. The main portion has an enclosed slot, and the baffle portion inserts into the slot such that with the ceiling tile in an installed orientation, the baffle portion extends downwardly from the main portion. The baffle portion has a flange on one end that is larger than the slot in at least one of width or length, such that the flange retains the baffle portion in the slot. Drop ceilings that use these ceiling tiles are also disclosed.
CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system which includes support beams, elongated covers that at least partially cove the support beams, and baffles which attach to the support beams. The support beams may have a vertical web portion, a flange portion at a top end of the vertical web portion, and bulb portion at a bottom end of the vertical web portion. The elongated may have a cover body and a cover slot in a top surface of the cover body. The elongated covers may be mounted to the support beams so that the bulb portions of the support beams are located within the cover slots of the elongated covers. The baffles may extend between and be mounted to adjacent ones of the plurality of support beams so that the baffles extends into notches of the elongated covers and the bulb portions of the support beams are located within slots of the baffle.
