Metal roof panel with deformation resistant rib and method of making the same
10596612 · 2020-03-24 ·

A metal roof panel includes a rib with a unique shape. The rib is bilateral with upwardly angled sides that each transition into an indentation, with both indentations transitioning into a central flat apex. Between each rib is a channel, preferably including at least one raised surface. The lower surface of the channel between the raised surfaces, and the top of the raised surfaces, are substantially planar and parallel to the flat surface of the apex of the panel. A unique method of manufacturing the roof panel employs a roll machine configured to shape a piece of sheet metal into the roof panel by modifying the shape in many small increments, which allows the final product to have a fairly intricate bend pattern.

A Corrugated Construction Element

A corrugated construction element (100) for drywall and ceiling construction is disclosed. The corrugated construction element (100) comprises a base profile (101) connected to at least one leg profile (102a) or (102b). The base profile (101) and/or at least one leg profile (102a) or (102b) comprise an array of angular corrugations (110) extending across their surface in a non-parallel direction to the principal axis L of the corrugated construction element (100). The disclosure also relates to an apparatus and a method for forming a corrugated profile (770).

TRANSLUCENT BUILDING MATERIAL

A manufacturing process, and related products, for fabricating translucent articles in the form of tiles. The manufacturing process includes holding together a stack of corrugated cardboard pieces and saturating the cardboard pieces with an impregnating agent. Additional steps may include machining the cardboard pieces to define a block of a desired shape, slicing the block into tile components, and/or coating one or more tile components with a coating material to produce the article. Articles include translucent tiles made of corrugated cardboard pieces saturated with an impregnating agent. The tiles may be arranged to define a surface, such as a floor, a wall, a roof, a lighting installation, an architectural construction element, an architectural aesthetic element, or a solar panel.

Prefabricated structural building panel
10563400 · 2020-02-18 ·

A load bearing building panel having a first sheet intended to provide an inner building surface, a second sheet intended to provide an outer building surface, and an insulating foam core sandwiched between them. The sheet that provides the inner building surface is corrugated to define co-planar portions separated by a plurality of channels which are dimensioned so as to be able to accommodate standard size electrical boxes and/or plumbing pipes. Advantageously, the other sheet is also corrugated to define a plurality of channels so that a plurality of panels can be stacked in a partially nesting relationship.

CORRUGATED STEEL SHEET HAVING INCLINED PORTION IN WHICH POSITION OF COUPLING HOLE IS ADJUSTED AND JOINT CORRUGATED STEEL SHEET STRUCTURE USING SAME

The present invention relates to a corrugated steel sheet, and provides a corrugated steel sheet (B) having an inclined portion in which the position of a coupling hole is adjusted, wherein: among a pair of corrugated steel sheets (A, B), a corrugated steel sheet (B) is overlapped and joined with the upper portion of a lower corrugated steel sheet (A) and has the same thickness as the lower corrugated steel sheet (A); a common bolt is coupled to both a coupling hole in the lower corrugated steel sheet (A) and a coupling hole in the corrugated steel sheet (B); and when assuming that the distance between the center of a middle crest portion coupling hole (111) and the center of an adjacent inclined portion coupling hole (141) is a coupling hole distance (a, b), the coupling hole distance (b) for the corrugated steel sheet (B) is calculated by equation 1. Therefore, the present invention can obtain a stable bolt coupling strength, can minimize the occurrence of a gap in a joint corrugated steel sheet structure in which the corrugated steel sheets are overlapped and joined together, thereby improving the waterproof performance thereof, and can facilitate bolt coupling work, thereby improving constructability on the site.

Double-insulated double-clad metal building system

A metal building system has multiple spaced building sections connected by inner and outer batten panels. Each building section has two spaced frame elements connected by inner and outer skin panels. The frame elements have two walls and a roof. The batten and skin panels have a metal layer that faces away from the frame elements and an insulation layer that faces the frame elements. The skin panels are seamed to the frame element and the batten panels are seamed to the skin panels such that there is no metal to metal contact between the frame elements, the skin panels and the batten panels. Each building section can be assembled at ground level, rotated to a final upright position and anchored.
