TWISTED STEEL MICRO REINFORCED CLADDING SYSTEM
A cladding system for use on the external surface of a building structure that includes a continuous rail system to attach a cladding panel that interlocks with itself. The rail system includes a tongue and groove system to attach the cladding system to the building thereby avoiding the need to use discrete anchors. The cladding panel is formed of a high strength concrete matrix and, optionally, a plurality of twisted steel micro reinforcements (TSMR) dispersed therein.
Systems, methods, apparatus, and compositions for building materials and construction
A structural insulated building unit is provided for constructing a building. The structural insulated building unit includes an insulating core, first and second cementitious panels, and a connecting portion. The insulating core is defined by multiple sides and opposing first and second faces. The first and second cementitious panels are coupled to the first and second faces of the insulating core. The connecting portion is provided on one of the sides of the insulating core, and aligns the structural insulated building unit with an adjacent structural insulated building unit having a complementary connecting portion when constructing a building.
Precast Concrete Panel and Method
A precast concrete panel and method for forming the panel are disclosed. A method of forming the panel to be used as a floor, wall, or roof structure includes positioning one or more forming members within a casting bed having a plurality of upright surfaces defining a generally rectangular interior area, the one or more forming members comprising an insulating material extending along a length dimension of the one or more forming members to define a plurality of rectangular-shaped channels in a parallel and spaced-apart relationship, placing uncured concrete within the casting bed and allowing the concrete to cover the one or more forming members and substantially fill the channels, and allowing the concrete to cure.
Tank wall
A tank wall comprises a concrete body, a plurality of reinforcement elements disposed in the concrete body, and a plurality of attachment elements disposed in the concrete body. The concrete body has a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface in a vertical direction, a flat surface extending in the vertical direction between the top surface and the bottom surface, and a tapered surface disposed opposite the flat surface. The flat surface extends perpendicular to the bottom surface and a portion of the tapered surface extends at an acute angle with respect to the bottom surface. The reinforcement elements include a plurality of reinforcement strands and a plurality of monostrand anchors between which the reinforcement strands are attached. The attachment elements include a plurality of U-shaped bars extending through the top surface of the concrete body.
PRE-SHAPED FORM CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION USING THE SAME
A building component includes a form that is pre-shaped. The form includes a channel segment, defined, at least in part, by a base region and a wall that extends from the base region. The form is configured for installation as a permanent fixture in a building structure by abutment of the form with a corresponding form having a corresponding channel segment. The abutment is between the channel segment and the corresponding channel segment, and when respective ends of the respective base regions of the channel segment and the corresponding channel segment are in abutment, a beam channel is created between the form and the corresponding form. Further, when respective ends of the respective walls of the channel segment and the corresponding channel segment are in abutment, a column channel is created between the form and the corresponding form.
PRE-CAST CONCRETE STORAGE STRUCTURE
A variety of storage structures may be constructed onsite entirely from pre-fabricated parts reducing labor and time required for assembly.
Building system
A system for the construction of modular structures includes sheet metal panels that include at least some pre-cut portions configured to be deformed in such as way as to provide a gripping and reinforcing function for a cementitious material when poured around the structure constructed of the sheet metal panels. Window and door openings are typically precut prior to shipping to a construction site and then punched out of a sheet metal panel at a construction site. The invention provides for an extremely compact method of shipping load bearing components to the construction site and reduced labor time in assembling a building framework.
Wall panel apparatus
A building apparatus for a residential or commercial building that includes a prefabricated wall panel and a horizontal beam mounted on a top of the prefabricated wall panel. The prefabricated wall panel includes a first concrete block, a second concrete block, and an insulation panel sandwiched between the two concrete blocks. A plurality of spaced-apart hollow tubes extend between the top side and the bottom side of the prefabricated wall panel and each tube has a flange at its a periphery. The tubes reinforce the first concrete block, and the flanges are supported on the top side of the wall. The horizontal beam is fastened to these flanges. The prefabricated wall panel further includes a U-shape beam that extends from the top side to the bottom side and is positioned at or near the left side or the right side of the prefabricated wall panel. A plurality of slings spaced apart run along a length of the U-shape beam and can provide for assembling two wall panels.
