Aspects of the present disclosure relate to modular wall systems, modular wall units, and methods of installing modular wall systems for indoor environments such as medical treatment environments. In one implementation, a first outer panel and a second outer panel are spaced apart from each other to form a window, and a front panel is attached to front surfaces of the first and second outer panels. The front panel is formed of a polymeric material or a composite material, and the front panel includes an aesthetic design thereon.

Profile bond

A profile assembly produced from a first profile and a second profile connected longitudinally by cold joining. Both profiles bear complementary clamping structures on long sides thereof facing toward one another for cold joining together. The clamping structure of the first profile comprises a clamping head formed on a web and forming an undercut on each side of the web by way of a greater extension in the profile transverse direction in relation to that of the web. The clamping structure of the second profile comprises a clamping head receptacle for accommodating a section of the clamping head and a clinching leg, formed on a profile-exterior leg of the clamping head receptacle, having a first profile arm protruding before cold joining and a second profile arm formed at an angle thereon, the free end of which engages behind the clamping head and, before cold joining, faces toward a clamping pocket of the first profile. The clamping head receptacle is tapered with respect to its open width and/or the clamping head is tapered with respect to its material thickness of the section to be inserted into the clamping head receptacle, wherein the section of the clamping head pressed into the clamping head receptacle is connected to the clamping head receptacle in a metallically sealed manner.

A stiff wall panel assembly includes a wall panel including a single, continuous, and unitary layer including a central portion having a plurality of central portion ribs spaced therealong, a first wall track engaged with the central portion and having a plurality of first ribs spaced therealong, and a second wall track engaged with the central portion and having a plurality of second ribs spaced therealong. Studs are engaged with the central portion, the first wall track, and the second wall track. Such studs have a plurality of third ribs each engaged with the central portion ribs, the first ribs, and the second ribs. The first ribs and the second ribs each are linearly interlocked as well as linearly and slidably interfitted within the third ribs of the studs. The first ribs and the second ribs each are parallel to the third ribs of the studs.

TRACK SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING WALL STUDS

An apparatus for supporting and retaining a plurality of parallel spaced apart wall studs comprises a longitudinally extending base having first and second side edges and first and second opposed sidewalls extending generally perpendicular to the base from the first and second side edges, wherein the base and sidewalls together define a trough for receiving and retaining an end portion of the plurality of wall studs. The apparatus further comprises a plurality of clips sized to fit within and extend transversely across the trough, each of the plurality of clips having first and second tabs extending from the base wherein the first and second tabs each define a slot with a corresponding of the first and second sidewalls sized to receive a portion of the wall studs therein.

WALL CONNECTION SYSTEM

A wall connection system is disclosed, which includes a horizontal building frame component with a first vertical face that has a first slot. The system further includes a prefabricated wall structure with a plurality of parallel studs and an elongate member connect to each stud. The elongate member has a second vertical face with a second slot and is parallel to the first vertical face. The long axis of the first slot is perpendicular to the long axis of the second slot. A fastener assembly connects the horizontal building frame component to the wall structure, through the slots.
