Machine walls
Improvements in machine walls to construct a building or house is disclosed. Adjacent side of the wall sections are tapered and dovetailed that lock-in-place. The dovetails are spaced to reduce the height that one section must be lifted to engage in an adjoining wall section. The footers/base plate will also have integrated earthquake or hurricane hold-downs in the footer/base plate that aligns and can be secured from the foundation to the wall sections. The connection of the wall section to the foundation to have counter flashing at the concrete insert and the wall-to-wall sections can be self-flashed. The wall sections can have GPS locators for positioning the wall sections. Plumbing and electrical conduit creating circuits that can be integrated into the walls and are connected sealed or bonded together.
ACOUSTICAL BUILDING PANEL, MONOLITHIC SURFACE COVERING SYSTEM INCORPORATING AN ACOUSTICAL BUILDING PANEL, AND METHODS OF FORMING AND INSTALLING THE SAME
An acoustical building panel is disclosed that comprises a fibrous panel comprising: a central portion having a first major surface; a perimeter portion surrounding the central portion; a recess press-formed into the perimeter portion, the recess circumscribing the first major surface and comprising a recess floor surface; a second major surface opposite the first major surface; and side edge surfaces that define a perimeter of the fibrous panel and extend from the second major surface to the recess floor surface.
STRUCTURAL INSULATED FINISHED CLADDING ASSEMBLIES
An exterior building panel includes a panel body having a polymeric framing arrangement including an outer boundary portion extending around an outer perimeter of the panel body and a plurality of crossing frame members extending between opposed first and second sides of the outer boundary portion to define a plurality of cavities surrounded by the outer boundary portion, core insulation material disposed in each of the plurality of cavities, an insulation layer surrounding the framing arrangement and the core insulation material, and an insulating lamina coating covering the insulation layer.
Building exterior panel and assembly structure thereof
The present invention relates to a building exterior panel and an assembly structure thereof. A building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a front steel plate; a rear steel plate spaced apart from the front steel plate in the rear direction thereof; an upper frame disposed between the upper ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate and having a width in the thickness direction; a first side frame disposed at an end of a first side surface located at one end among horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; a second side frame disposed at an end of a second side surface located at the other end among the horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; and a lower frame disposed between the lower ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate. In addition, an assembly structure of a building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of building exterior panels as described above; and a base steel member having one side fixed to an outer wall and the other side coupled to the plurality of building exterior panels to support the plurality of building exterior panels.
Hybrid insulating panel, frame, and enclosure
An enclosure for use as a walk-in freezer or refrigerator includes a first panel and a second panel connected to the first panel. Each of the first and second panels includes a body having a frame coupled to the body. The frame includes a beam of a first material and a jacket of a second material at least partially enclosing the beam. An interior edge of the frame is adjacent to the body. An exterior edge is defined by the jacket and defines a joint member. The joint member of the first panel defines a groove, and the joint member of the second panel defines a protrusion adapted to engage the groove of the joint member of the first panel. At least one joint member includes a deformable portion that compresses when the joint member of the first panel engages with the joint member of the second panel.
Acoustic material frame and method
A thermoplastic frame for holding acoustical material has extruded square plastic tubing that is inserted or press-fit onto corner connectors and T-connectors to make an open ended enclosure that houses the acoustic material. Once the frame is assembled, the acoustic material is inserted in the open end of the frame.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY USING DIFFERENTIAL SETTLEMENT ANCHORS
A structural assembly, preferably for creation of a firewall, is constructed using anchors attached to at least a first structure and a concrete wall. Preferably, the concrete wall is also attached to a second structure as well. The body of the anchors is fabricated from a material that fails at a temperature in excess of 1,000° F. A fastening member, preferably a grommet assembly, is positioned in an elongate slot for connecting the first face to the first structure and for sliding engagement within the elongate slot in response to relative movement of the first structure and/or the second structure and the attached concrete wall.
BUILDING ELEMENT, A METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE THEREOF, A PROFILE AND A COMBINATION OF A PROFILE AND A PANEL
A building element, comprising a profile and a panel, characterized in that the profile and the panel are mutually coupled by means of a deformation of the panel inside the profile. The profile preferably comprises a housing with an inner wall and an internal space defined within the inner wall and at least one access opening in the inner wall providing access to the inner space, wherein in the inner space at least a part of a form element is arranged, which form element is coupled to the inner wall on a side remote from the access opening, and wherein a thickness of the form element near the coupling to the inner wall is smaller than at a position between the coupling to the inner wall and the access opening.
CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS FABRICATED USING EXTRUDED MATERIALS
Construction components and systems fabricated using extruded materials are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: a sheet fabricated from an extruded material; and a core structure internal to the sheet, the core structure including voids, the voids being triangular-shaped and arranged in an alternately inverted pattern.
COMPOSITE PANELIZED BUILDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods are described herein for a panelized building assembly. In one example, an assembly may include one or more of a first composite planar panel, and second composite planar panel, and a planar joining element. The first and second planar panels may include a core material sandwiched between two fiber-reinforced skin elements. Each of the panels may include a first block of fiber-reinforced material coupled to at least one of the skin elements, which may define two slots for receiving the planar joining element. In some cases, the planar joining element, when placed within the slots of two panels to be joined, may transfer a load between the fiber-reinforced material of the two panels. The resulting joint may form a water-tight and fire-retardant seal.
