SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A WALL ASSEMBLY HAVING AN ACOUSTIC PANEL
Various embodiments for a wall assembly having an acoustic panel defining a plurality of thru-holes that act to break low density mechanically coupled pathways for sound transmission through the acoustic panel for reducing sound transmission are disclosed herein.
Methods and systems for modular buildings
Pre-fabricated wall panels with embedded electronic devices. Also, a modular building made from pre-fabricated panels with embedded electronic devices, individual panel identifiers, and a central computer system.
HUMIDITY AND SAG RESISTANT BUILDING PANEL
Described herein is an stain and sag resistant acoustic building panel comprising a porous body formed from building material and latex binder, wherein the building material may include fibers and filler and at one of the building materials has been pre-treated with a charge-modifying component, thereby enhancing the sag-resistance of the building panel.
Panel and Method for Fabricating, Installing and Utilizing a Panel
The insulating barrier of a panel including has a first stratum and a second stratum, each having a plurality of ridges that face each other, and run athwart of each other. Clearance between at least some adjacent pairs of the ridges provide a mechanical chase that reaches across at least most of the panel. A cladding overlaying at least one side of the insulating barrier is denser than the barrier. The mechanical chase is in the form of a groove through which a utility feed can be routed when the panel is to be mounted in a building.
PANEL UNIT
The panel unit includes a first panel, a second panel facing the first panel with a space provided therebetween the first panel and the second panel, a partition separating the space from a surrounding space, and a switching mechanism. The switching mechanism is located in the space for allowing a change in thermal conductivity between the first panel and the second panel. The switching mechanism includes at least one connector which is thermally conductive, and is switchable between a first state in which the at least one connector is out of contact with the first panel or the second panel and a second state in which the at least one connector is in contact with both the first panel and the second panel.

PIPE MOUNT
A pipe mount for connecting pipe sections is disclosed. The pipe mount comprises a sliding member movably attached to a plumbing arrangement element. The sliding member extends in the vertical direction of the plumbing arrangement element, and it is vertically movable between an extreme position and a second position. The pipe mount further comprises at least one pipe bracket for securing the pipe sections onto the sliding member. A system and a method for connecting pipe sections are also disclosed.
Antifungal Wallboards
A wallboard comprising a gypsum core and a facing layer, containing a fungicidally effective amount of thiabendazole (TBZ) and 2-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BBIT).
CLOSED WALL HOLD DOWNS
A closed wall hold down system is provided including at least one closed wall panel, at least one first tie rod, at least one second tie rod, at least one coupler nut, and at least one ratcheting take-up device. The at least one closed wall panel includes a bottom plate and a top plate. The at least one first tie rod projects through the bottom plate. The at least one coupler nut is coupled to the at least one first tie rod and to a first end of the at least one second tie rod. A second end of the at least one second tie rod extends through the top plate. The at least one ratcheting take-up device engages the second end of the at least one second tie rod. A method of installing the closed wall hold down system is also provided.
Machine walls
Improvements in machine walls to construct a building or house is disclosed. Adjacent side of the wall sections are tapered and dovetailed that lock-in-place. The dovetails are spaced to reduce the height that one section must be lifted to engage in an adjoining wall section. The footers/base plate will also have integrated earthquake or hurricane hold-downs in the footer/base plate that aligns and can be secured from the foundation to the wall sections. The connection of the wall section to the foundation to have counter flashing at the concrete insert and the wall-to-wall sections can be self-flashed. The wall sections can have GPS locators for positioning the wall sections. Plumbing and electrical conduit creating circuits that can be integrated into the walls and are connected sealed or bonded together.
