Lumber use designation system and method
A lumber use designation system includes a building construction plan that shows the layout, wall thickness, wall height, ceiling angles, etc., of a structure, which are color coded from a series of color codes each corresponding to a preselected, standard board size and length of lumber that should be selected for constructing a particular portion of the structure. The system includes a supply of lumber boards marked with a color code correlating to the color code found on the construction plans. The lumber boards may be imprinted by an ink spray head. A method of installing lumber during the construction of a structure is disclosed.
WALL PANEL APPARATUS
A building apparatus for a residential or commercial building that includes a prefabricated wall panel and a horizontal beam mounted on a top of the prefabricated wall panel. The prefabricated wall panel includes a first concrete block, a second concrete block, and an insulation panel sandwiched between the two concrete blocks. A plurality of spaced-apart hollow tubes extend between the top side and the bottom side of the prefabricated wall panel and each tube has a flange at its a periphery. The tubes reinforce the first concrete block, and the flanges are supported on the top side of the wall. The horizontal beam is fastened to these flanges. The prefabricated wall panel further includes a U-shape beam that extends from the top side to the bottom side and is positioned at or near the left side or the right side of the prefabricated wall panel. A plurality of slings spaced apart run along a length of the U-shape beam and can provide for assembling two wall panels.
Enclosure Component Compression Seal Systems
A sealing system with a first seal plate having an interior face and an opposed exterior face. The interior face is adapted to be secured to an enclosure component, and the exterior face defines a seal slot. The first seal plate is adapted to mate with a second seal plate. A resilient compression seal is positioned in the seal slot, and has a base and first and second seal walls joined to and extending away from the base in a diverging relationship. First and second arcuate buttresses are joined respectively to the first and second seal walls distal from the base, and first and second planar seal surfaces are joined to ends of the first and second arcuate buttresses distal from the seal walls, with the first and second seal surfaces extending away from the arcuate buttresses in a converging relationship. First and second closure ends of a seal closure are joined to ends of the seal surfaces distal from the arcuate buttresses. The base, seal walls, arcuate buttresses, seal surfaces and seal closure define a hollow seal chamber.
LOAD EQUALIZING SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR FAÇADE WALL PANELS
Systems, methods, and an apparatus are provided for supporting a wall panel on a floor surface and for providing a desired distribution of a load from the wall panel to the floor surface. For some buildings, the desired distribution is an equal or uniform distribution. A wall panel such as a precast concrete façade wall panel may include multiple supports that contact a floor surface. Each support has a bias member that generates a force that is equivalent to the portion of the overall load that the support transfers to a floor. As a result, bias members in these supports can be adjusted to provide a desired load distribution from a wall panel or other component to the floor surface to account for floor deflection, settling of the building, spanning adjacent columns, etc.
WALL PANEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A CONDUCTOR
A wall panel assembly for mounting to a support is disclosed. The support includes a support-defined communicating module that includes a support-defined counterpart of a connecting structure and a support-defined conductor. The wall panel assembly comprises a wall panel that is mountable to the support, and a wall panel assembly-defined communicating module that includes a wall panel assembly-defined counterpart of the connecting structure that is configured for releasably coupling to the support-defined counterpart of the connecting structure, and a wall panel assembly-defined conductor. In response to the releasable coupling of the wall panel assembly-defined and the support-defined counterparts of the connecting structure, the wall panel assembly-defined conductor becomes disposed in operable communication, for example, electrical communication or data communication, with the support-defined conductor. Once the coupling is released, the wall panel assembly-defined counterpart is releasably couplable to another support-defined counterpart of the connecting structure to reposition the wall panel assembly.
PREFABRICATED MODULAR GARAGE OR COMMERCIAL CONVERSION ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS
Prefabricated modular accessory dwelling unit kits, methods of converting an interior space into an accessory dwelling unit, and plumbing panel wall assemblies are disclosed. In some embodiments, the prefabricated modular accessory dwelling unit kits include a plumbing panel assembly and a plurality of wall panels. In some embodiments, the methods include attaching a plumbing panel assembly, attaching a plurality of wall panels, and attaching one or more pairs of adjacent wall panels together. In some embodiments, the plumbing panel assembly includes side walls and end walls that collectively define a plumbing panel interior compartment therebetween and a plurality of pipes disposed within the plumbing panel interior compartment.
REINFORCED STRUCTURAL INSULATION PANEL WITH CORNER BLOCKS
A structural insulation panel (SIP) is made of a central insulation material or block core covered with cementitious material. The layers of cementitious material are reinforced with fiber mesh sheets, rebar and corner blocks. The corner blocks are held in thickened cementitious material edges by reinforcement pins that are fixed to the corner blocks. The corner blocks are accessible for lifting the panel and for assembling multiple panels to build a wall.
Automated MEPI Design for Hollow Wall Construction
Disclosed embodiments include the production of construction plans upon planar surfaces such as studless walls near studless walls or traditional framing. Disclosed embodiments include specialized databases, cutting systems and printing systems useful for implementation of various plans upon planar surfaces sometimes used with hollow wall systems, sometimes constructed with bamboo or other fast growing sources of structural fiber, with the types of subject printing and cutting sometimes including architectural plans, structural plans, electrical plans, plumbing plans, mechanical plans, insulation plans, media plans, security plans and construction plans and details including those derived directly from various plans
ECO SMART PANELS FOR ENERGY SAVINGS
An eco-smart panel is described comprising a solar thermal panel, a phase change material, a metal foil layer, and a structural frame constructed of materials including wood studs, gypsum, or fiberglass-reinforced concrete. The materials may be variously configured to create modular systems for fabricating buildings or structures. Eco-smart panels may be utilized to create buildings or structure with enhanced energy efficiency, increased fire resistance, increased flood resistance, and decreased construction cost and time.
Modular panel system and a wall installation method
The present invention relates to the construction industry, and in particular to laboratories, hospitals, food production areas and other places where asepsis is required. Specifically, it relates to a modular construction system based on self-supporting panels, which have post-formed exterior surfaces and are complemented with corner components of similar construction to build hermetic, waterproof and insulating walls that have smooth surfaces. For this, there is a modular system of panels for forming aseptic spaces within an enclosure and a method of installing a clean room wall by means of a modular system of panels to form aseptic spaces inside an enclosure.
