TRUSS STRUCTURE
A truss structure may include a plurality of load bearing members, or force members, that are joined at a plurality of nodes to define a load bearing structure. The truss structure may include a plurality of longitudinal members extending in parallel along a longitudinal length of the truss structure, and a plurality of transverse members, joined to the plurality of longitudinal members at nodes, and extending between the plurality of longitudinal members. The plurality of transverse members may provide buckling support to the plurality of longitudinal members, so that an axial load, or compressive load, or buckling load, may be effectively carried by the truss structure.

BUILDING STRUCTURE, BUILDING, AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION METHOD
Provided is a building structure enabling use of a horizontal member made of heavy gauge steel and braces installed between pillars erected in a longitudinal direction to be eliminated and structurally efficient.
A building structure of the present invention includes: a horizontal member (10) installed between pillars (30) erected in a longitudinal direction; and a unit (20) installed on the horizontal member (10), wherein the horizontal member (10) is made of light gauge steel, the unit (20) includes: 1) a horizontal frame (21) including a short side member (21a) and formed in a rectangular shape; 2) a beam (22) connected to a center of the short side member (21a) in a lengthwise direction to be perpendicular to the horizontal frame (21) and having a truss structure; 3) a first diagonal member (23) installed between one end of the short side member (21a) and the beam (22); and 4) a second diagonal member (24) installed between another end of the short side member (21a) and the beam (22), the short side member (21a) is an upper chord member of a girder (50) connected to the pillar (30) and having a truss structure, the horizontal member (10) is a lower chord member of the girder (50), a vertical member (22c) of the beam (22) is a vertical member of the girder (50), and the first diagonal member (23) and the second diagonal member (24) are diagonal members of the girder (50).
QUAD-CHORD TRUSS AND PLATFORM CONTAINING SAME
A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. Each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are swivelly attached to the chord pairs to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to connector members of beams which may extend perpendicular to a parallel pair of the trusses and attached thereto. The laid trusses and beams is overlaid with sheets of corrugated sheet metal which overlap each other along their adjacent edges. While standing on a sheet of laid sheet metal adjacent ends of an already laid pair of trusses, another truss can be held adjacent the edge of the sheet metal for attaching an end of the other truss along only one side so that it can then be swung outwardly into a position wherein the other end of the other truss can also be attached to rigidly connect the trusses end-to-end.
PLATFORM AND A KIT THEREFOR
A platform and a kit therefor. The platform and the kit comprises quad-chord trusses attachable end-to-end and having connector members intermediate thereof, and further comprising beams attachable at their ends to the connector members so that a beam attaches two parallel trusses. A truss comprises first and second pairs of chords which are foldable for storage and transport and unfoldable to use for erection of the platform. A track lies between the upper chords to allow movement of bolts along the track into position to attach for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The kit also includes a sturdy and reliable and easy to use tie-up mechanism and railing along the platform perimeter which is quickly and easily attachable and reliable.
Truss hinge with variations in angular settings
A truss hinge that includes a number of different labeled parts, where connections between the two different parts can constrain the truss to different angles.
Support structure module and modular beam structure
A modular beam structure consisting of one or more collapsible, lockable and interconnectable support structure modules, and any transition module to change longitudinal direction of the structure. In addition, it is possible to attach onto one or more support structure modules a collapsible platform and/or wall or fence. The structure is at an upstream end or start end attachable, via a module end element, onto an attachment device, e.g. a wall or attachment block, via a support frame which is fixedly attached to the attachment device.
ERECTED PLATFORM
A platform erected by adding an other platform portion to an existing platform portion, as illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 23, by holding a first other truss adjacent decking of the existing portion, connecting ends of sides of the first other truss and a first existing truss with a first pin, swinging the first other truss about the first pin, and connecting ends of other sides of the first other truss and first existing truss with a second pin. In order to similarly connect a second other truss to a second existing truss, the first pin is removed and the first other truss is swung out of the way. After the second other truss is connected to the second existing truss, the first other truss is swung back into position and the first pin re-inserted. Decking is applied to the first and second other trusses.

The connector members are adapted for attachment to connector members of beams which may extend perpendicular to a parallel pair of the trusses and attached thereto.
Truss structure
A truss comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending frame members, which, when secured together, have a substantially rectangular configuration, the truss having vertically and horizontally extending members connecting each other, the connections being mechanical, and a plurality of diagonally extending members.
