LATH WITH FLATTENED TABS
A manufacturing assembly and method produce a wire mesh including a plurality of longitudinal members and a monolithic transverse member secured to the plurality of longitudinal members. The monolithic transverse member includes a plurality of transverse portions that define a first cross-sectional shape, and further includes a plurality of longitudinal portions that define a second cross-sectional shape different than the first cross-sectional shape.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A fatigue resistant gravity based spread footing under heavy multi-axial cyclical loading of a wind tower. The foundation having a central vertical pedestal, a substantially horizontal continuous bottom support slab, a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs extending radially outward from the pedestal. The pedestal, ribs and slab forming a continuous monolithic structure. The foundation may have a three-dimensional network of post-tensioning elements that keep the structural elements under heavy multi-axial post compression with a specific eccentricity intended to reduce stress amplitudes and deflections and allows the foundation to have a desirable combination of high stiffness and superior fatigue resistance. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
Structure for the reinforcement of pavements
The invention relates to a structure for the reinforcement of pavements. The structure is provided at predetermined positions with interruptions or with weakened zones. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such a structure and to a method of breaking up a pavement reinforced with such a structure.
Tilt-Up and Precast Construction Panels
Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels and improved methods for creating the same address deficiencies in the current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels use less concrete and less steel reinforcement and weigh less than current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Additionally, improved tilt-up and precast construction panels have greater insulative properties (both heat and sound) than do current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels require less labor on the construction site, thereby increasing efficiency and profitability of construction crews. Additional advantages of implementations of the invention will become apparent through the following description and by practice of implementations of the invention.
Reinforcement bar joint recognition using artificial intelligence vision
An apparatus or system for reinforcement bar (rebar) joint recognition using artificial intelligence vision includes a rebar tying tool attached to a micro manipulator; and a macro manipulator for moving the position of the micro manipulator; wherein the macro manipulator is adapted to move the micro manipulator on a first plane; the micro manipulator is adapted to move the rebar tying tool on a second plane parallel to the first plane and at a first axis vertical to the second plane.
FOUNDATION WITH PEDESTAL AND RIBS FOR TOWERS
A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
TOOL DEVICE FOR REINFORCEMENT MESH IN CONCRETE AND RELATED METHODS
A tool device is for positioning a reinforcement mesh for concrete. The tool device may include a lever arm having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a pivot point between the first end and the second end. The tool device may include a pivoting vertical support coupled to the lever arm at the pivot point and cooperating with the pivot point to rotate about the pivot point, and a toe coupled to the first end of the lever arm and to engage the reinforcement mesh.

Twisted block
A block suitable for use in paving, edging or wall applications comprises a lower portion having parallel, substantially vertical side faces that are spaced apart by a first width, and an upper portion having parallel, substantially vertical side faces that are spaced apart by a second width. The second width is smaller than the first width of the lower portion, and the side faces of the upper portion are angled relative to the side faces of the lower portion. The block further comprises a transition portion between the upper and lower portions, having at least one slanted side extending between one or more sides of the lower portion and one or more sides, respectively, of the upper portion.
