STRUCTURAL ELEMENT REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220042311 · 2022-02-10 ·

Systems for reinforcement of structural elements such as piles, posts, pillars, and pipes are disclosed. The present invention features reinforced structural elements. The reinforced structural elements may include a sleeve structure positioned around a length of the structural element such that there is a chamber between the structural element and the sleeve structure. This chamber may be filled with concrete or another core filler material so as to reinforce the structural element. The sleeve structures of the present invention may be formed by the assembly of multiple staggered segmented layers of coupled reinforcing shells such as rigid, semi-rigid, or flexible fiber-reinforced shells.

PREFABRICATED MODULAR REBAR MODULES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

There is provided a reinforcing steel structure for use in a concrete building wall. The structure includes one or more prefabricated, welded cages having vertical reinforcing bars. A plurality of continuous ties extends around the vertical reinforcing bars and a plurality of shear ties extends generally horizontally between the vertical reinforcing bars. Each welded cage is sized and shaped for shipping and said structure can be formed onsite from a plurality of said cages lapped together. Concrete is added to the reinforcing steel structure to form a concrete building wall.

There is also provided a reinforcing steel structure for use in a concrete building transfer or raft slab. The structure includes one or more prefabricated, welded beams. The prefabricated, welded beams have a top beam layer and a bottom beam layer, each having horizontal reinforcing bars, and a plurality of continuous ties extending generally vertically around the top and bottom beam layers. Each welded beam is sized and shaped for shipping and said structure can be formed onsite from a plurality of said beams lapped together. Concrete is added to the reinforcing steel structure to form a concrete building slab.

Method for producing a reinforced concrete part, and thus-produced part
11199000 · 2021-12-14 · ·

A method for producing a reinforced concrete part, having a tensioned portion subjected to pull stresses and tending to stretch under the load, and which includes a reinforcing frame with at least one tensioned longitudinal bar rigidly connected to the concrete by an adhesive connection that determines a tangential adhesive stress along the bar that varies on the basis of applied pull stresses. Each tensioned longitudinal bar has, on at least one portion of the length thereof, a discontinuous series of spaced blocking areas that each include a plurality of elements for anchoring into the concrete and which are separated from each other by a series of sliding areas, in each of which an increase in the adhesion stress above a limit value causes the bar to disengage, without disrupting the concrete, on at least a portion of the length between the two blocking areas with an extension of the bar corresponding to applied pull stresses, the extension being distributed over the entire length of the disengaged portion of the bar.

Systems and methods of concrete apparatus with incorporated lifter
11371252 · 2022-06-28 · ·

Systems and methods for a concrete apparatus with incorporated lifter are provided. A concrete apparatus is formed by placing a reinforcement system in a mold. The reinforcement system comprises a lifter. Concrete is poured into the mold such that the lifter protrudes from the poured concrete. After the concrete has hardened and the mold is removed, the lifter is used to carry and position the concrete apparatus. After the concrete apparatus is positioned, the lifter is removed at the circumference of the concrete apparatus leaving no holes, thereby eliminating water leakage due to lifting methods.

Stay-in-Place Forms and Methods and Equipment for Installation Thereof

Stay-in-place forms and methods and equipment for installing thereof. A concrete form includes a vertical component and a horizontal component, the vertical component located substantially perpendicular to the horizontal component. Also, the form includes an interior surface, at least a portion of the interior surface providing a form for supporting uncured concrete; wherein the uncured concrete forms a concrete structural portion upon curing of the uncured concrete; and wherein the interior surface remains attached to the concrete structural portion after curing. The form may include inserts and compatible form attachments. Also, forms including recesses may be utilized to reduce the weight thereof. Lifting equipment and accessories may be utilized to lift the form from a form holder and set same in place. Forms contain the work area as soon as it is installed to minimize fall hazards and the time, costs, and downtime associated with installation of safety measures.
