A system for manufacturing a reinforcement bar structure, wherein the system comprises a supply of reinforcement bar material, a bending apparatus, a holding apparatus and a group of robots wherein at least one robot of the group of robots is equipped with the tool for manufacturing a reinforcement bar structure. A method for transporting and attaching a reinforcement bar during manufacturing of a reinforcement bar structure using a tool comprising a main body, the method comprising gripping a reinforcement bar, tying together the reinforcement bar with another reinforcement bar by looping a wire around the reinforcement bars, tightening the wire around the reinforcement bars, forming a knot, and cutting the wire.
NEUTRON CAPTURE THERAPY SYSTEM
A neutron capture therapy system includes a neutron generating device and a beam shaping assembly. The neutron capture therapy system further includes a concrete wall accommodating the neutron generating device and the beam shaping assembly and shielding radiations generated by the neutron generating device and the beam shaping assembly, the concrete wall and a reinforcing portion at least partially disposed in the concrete wall are provided to support the beam shaping assembly, and more than 90% of weight of a material of the reinforcing portion is composed of at least one element of C, H, O, N, Si, Al, Mg, Li, B, Mn, Cu, Zn, S, Ca, and Ti. In the neutron capture therapy system, the reinforcing portion disposed in the concrete wall has good anti-activation performance. Therefore, compared with a conventional reinforced concrete structure, the radiation is further attenuated.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
V-shaped tie reinforcement integrally provided with one-touch fixing device
The present invention relates to a V-shaped tie reinforcement for reinforcing a hoop reinforcement installed around a main reinforcement, wherein the V-shaped tie reinforcement is installed in order to prevent deformation, such as buckling, of the main reinforcement installed on a long member of an RC structure or an SRC structure, such as a column or a compression beam while preventing brittle fracturing of concrete. The present invention comprises: a V-shaped reinforcement composed of a bent part having a shape surrounding a main reinforcement at the center thereof and an anchor part open at both sides; and a fixing means composed of an upper tie reinforcement fixing brace fixedly installed at the V-shaped reinforcement and connected to the main reinforcement, and a rotation preventing brace fixedly installed at the bent part of the V-shaped reinforcement and preventing the V-shaped reinforcement connected to the main reinforcement from rotating upward and downward and right and left.
Buckling resistant spring clad bar
A buckling resistant spring clad bar (BRSCB) assembly is described. The BRSCB assembly includes a plurality of bars arranged to form a perimeter, each of the plurality of bars having a top end and a bottom end. A plurality of springs are provided, wherein at least one of the plurality of springs is wrapped around each of the plurality of bars. A diameter of the at least one of the plurality of spring is greater than a diameter of the each of the plurality of bars. The at least one of the plurality of springs is wrapped around each of the plurality of bars in close contact to provide buckling resistance against a load applied over each of the plurality of bars.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A fatigue resistant gravity based spread footing under heavy multi-axial cyclical loading of a wind tower. The foundation having a central vertical pedestal, a substantially horizontal continuous bottom support slab, a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs extending radially outward from the pedestal. The pedestal, ribs and slab forming a continuous monolithic structure. The foundation may have a three-dimensional network of post-tensioning elements that keep the structural elements under heavy multi-axial post compression with a specific eccentricity intended to reduce stress amplitudes and deflections and allows the foundation to have a desirable combination of high stiffness and superior fatigue resistance. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
