A system for a strand-to-threadbar coupler block for prestressed concrete is disclosed. A system includes a concrete member, one or more multi-wire strands disposed within the concrete member, and a strand-to-threadbar coupler block disposed within the concrete member. The strand-to-threadbar coupler block is formed with a threadbar opening to admit a threadbar, and with one or more strand openings. The system includes one or more strand chucks coupled to the strand-to-threadbar coupler block at the one or more strand openings. A chuck diameter for the one or more strand chucks is greater than a diameter for the one or more strand openings, and the one or more multi-wire strands extend through the one or more strand openings and engage the one or more strand chucks.

Overlay cover and tensioning mechanism for a modular wall overlay system

A modular wall overlay system for installation on a support surface includes a frame; a cover that is securely, yet detachably, retained on and along a front face of the frame by a tensioning mechanism that is configured to tension the cover; and elastic corner inserts that are disposed in corners of the frame and include curved outer surfaces that are configured to permit the cover to be stretched over the elastic corner inserts creating radiused corners and preventing tearing of the cover in corners thereof when the cover is tensioned by the tensioning mechanism.

Customizable inner frame and lighting for a modular wall overlay system

A modular wall overlay system for installation on a support surface includes an outer frame having a pair of opposing ends and a pair of opposing sides and a customizable inner frame that is coupled to the outer frame. The inner frame includes a plurality of transverse supports that extend between the opposing sides and a plurality of longitudinal supports that extend between the opposing ends. The longitudinal supports and the transverse supports lie in a common plane defined within the outer frame. The system further includes a cover that is securely retained on the outer frame.

Concrete structure body and manufacturing method thereof

A concrete structure body includes a first concrete member having a first facing surface; a second concrete member having a second facing surface and disposed such that the first facing surface and the second facing surface face each other; a connection portion that fills a gap between the first facing surface and the second facing surface; and a tendon disposed in the connection portion to extend along the first facing surface and the second facing surface and to which a tensile force is applied in a longitudinal direction.

SEALING CONNECTOR FOR POST TENSIONED ANCHOR SYSTEM

A sealing connector cover for a tendon in an encapsulated post-tensioning reinforcement system includes a plurality of circumferential cover segments each comprising a circumferential part of a female connector housing at one longitudinal end, and a male connector housing at another longitudinal end. Each segment has a locking element to engage a corresponding locking element on a longitudinally corresponding segment. Each circumferential segment comprises a circumferential part of a locking element in the female connector housing configured to engage the male connector housing of a longitudinally adjacent sealing connector cover or a connector on an encapsulated anchor.

METHOD FOR ERECTING A WIND TURBINE TOWER
20210108615 · 2021-04-15 ·

The object is attained by a method of erecting a wind turbine tower having a plurality of tower segments which are tensioned by means of tensioning members. A plurality of tensioning members is provided and a fixing unit is fixed at an end of the tensioning members. Fixing of the fixing unit is effected by placing a multi-part wedge unit at a free end of the tensioning members which comprise a plurality of tensioning wires. A sleeve is fitted over the wedge unit and a pulling tab is fixed on or at the sleeve. The pulling tab has an opening. A cable is fixed at or in the hole in the pulling tab. The cable with the fixing unit and thus the tensioning members is pulled upwardly. The fixing unit is fixed at a segment of the tower, that is to be fixed. The sleeve is removed before the tensioning member is braced.
