The present invention relates to a reinforcement mesh (1) for use in construction, the mesh (1) comprising a plurality of longitudinally and transversely extending reinforcing members (2), wherein either of the longitudinal or the transverse reinforcing members (2), each comprises a rebar comprising strands (3) of material twisted together, the strands being parted at spaced locations along their length by the other of the longitudinal or transverse rebars which extend through, and are secured at, the spaced locations of the parted strands (4). The present invention also relates to a method for producing a reinforcement mesh (1) for use in construction

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BINDING METAL WIRES AND SIMILAR PRODUCTS
20230347405 · 2023-11-02 ·

The method for binding metal wires and similar products around a first element and a second element, in particular having an elongated shape, for example reinforcing rods, includes the step of preparing the first element and the second element in a crossed superimposed configuration, so as to define four respective quadrants (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) at a crossing zone, on a plane containing the longitudinal axis (Y) of one of the first element and the second element, and the projection (P) of the longitudinal axis of the other. The method then provides for inserting a calendering assembly mounted around a binding axis (A, A′) in front of a binding apparatus, abutting against at least one of the first element and the second element, at the crossing area, engaging the four quadrants (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4).

Combined structure of the combined bundle of columns in the column

A combined structure of a column includes a plurality of main steel bars, a consecutive stirrup, and a plurality of tie bars. The plural main steel bars are arrayed to form an inner confined region and an outer confined region surrounding the inner confined region. Further, the consecutive stirrup proceeds with a consecutive turning and surrounding along the inner confined region and the outer confined region, and surrounds a region in the consecutive stirrup of the inner confined region so as to form a column core. As such, a complete confinement can be provided for the main steel bars, so as to effectively prevent the main steel bars from buckling, such that the performance of seismic resistance for the columns can be enhanced.

Field-resizable slab anchor that uses cut-to-length pipe
11306482 · 2022-04-19 ·

A slab anchor that is resizable in the field to accommodate different thicknesses of slabs. The anchor may have a top assembly and a bottom assembly that are joined by pipe such as widely available PVC pipe. A contractor can simply determine the desired width of the slab (which determines the height of the anchor) and cut a PVC pipe to the length necessary to make a slab anchor of the needed height. This system allows contractors to keep on hand only a single type of slab anchor, and to customize this anchor easily at the last minute for each slab. The top assembly of the anchor may have a coil that a fastener screws into after the concrete is poured; a coil protector screw may be placed into the coil during pouring so that concrete does not fill the coil, and removed thereafter to install the fastener.

HOOP LOCKING DEVICE
20210332589 · 2021-10-28 ·

A hoop locking device for locking a hoop installed to surround a plurality of main reinforcements to give a transverse constraint force of the hoop is proposed. The hoop locking device includes: first clips configured to fix opposite ends of hoops, which cross each other while passing by one of the plurality of main reinforcements, each of the first clips comprises: an annular ring formed to surround an overlapping portion of the hoops disposed to vertically overlap each other; a leg part extending radially from opposite ends of the annular ring; and anchor parts formed to be bent rearwards from ends of the leg parts, respectively, and the opposite ends of the hoops are bent by 90 degrees while passing by the main reinforcement.

Fixture

The present invention provides a fixture with which a plurality of grids can be definitely constructed in a short period of time even by an inexperienced worker without causing the worker to do heavy work. In substantially center positions in the lengthwise direction of bottom portions of first frame members, a pair of third frame members included in connecting means are provided. In the third frame member, a base portion is caused to stand on a bottom portion of the first frame member. One of arms of a U-shape of the base portion works as a holding portion included in the connecting means, and the end of the holding portion is bent inward of the base portion to form a connection bent portion having a function to engage with a circumferential surface of a vertical wire material or a lateral wire material of a second welded wire mesh, and a function to prevent the vertical wire material or the lateral wire material of the second welded wire mesh from coming off from the connecting means.

Formwork Restraint

In one arrangement, shown in FIG. 1, there is provided a formwork restraint for a reinforcement bar. The formwork restraint includes a restraint portion for receiving the reinforcement bar. The formwork restraint further includes a support portion adapted to connect the restraint portion to a reinforcing formwork arrangement to maintain a desirable relationship between the reinforcement bar and the reinforcing formwork arrangement.

Rebar spacer

A rebar spacer installed in a rebar crossing portion includes a spacer body and a pair of installation metal fittings. The spacer body includes a main portion and a pair of leg portions integrally formed with the main portion. The pair of leg portions is protrudingly provided with an interval on a rebar-side surface of the main portion. The interval between the pair of leg portions is equal to or larger than a diameter of the rebar and a depth of the pair of leg portions in an installation direction is equal to or less than the diameter of the rebar. Each one of the pair of installation metal fittings has a structure such that one end portion is locked into one of the pair of leg portions and the other end portion is hooked on a back-side rebar.
