Tool Free Rebar Tie
Tool Free Rebar TieA metal wire tie consisting of a piece of 16 gauge wire between 8 and 12 inches long with a loop on each end and each loop closed with a twist. The inventive device is used to fasten rebar on construction sites prior to a concrete pour. The user grips the wire, placing gloved fingers through the loops, and wraps the wire around the joint where two rebar sections come together. The tie is used in place of a mechanical system and requires no tools or other devices to fasten the metal rods which reinforce concrete. Application of the tie is 2-3 times faster than the method currently in use providing substantial savings in man power and time for virtually any construction job where reinforced concrete is required.
FLAT COMPONENT, TRANSVERSE FORCE REINFORCEMENT ELEMENT, AND REINFORCED CONCRETE-/PRESTRESSED CONCRETE COMPONENT HAVING A TRANSVERSE FORCE REINFORCEMENT MADE OF TRANSVERSE FORCE REINFORCEMENT ELEMENTS OF THIS TYPE
The invention relates to L-shaped sheet metal parts 21 with an angled longitudinal recess 23 as well as a reinforced concrete/prestressed concrete component with at least one upper and at least one lower longitudinal reinforcement layer and a shear force reinforcement guided in its dimension over the upper-most and the lowermost longitudinal reinforcement, which is formed from the L-shaped sheet metal parts 21 according to the invention with stirrups 30 fastened in the longitudinal recess 23. The reinforced concrete/prestressed concrete component according to the invention is suitable for increasing the punching shear resistance in the region of slab columns of flat slabs.
Concrete slab panel forming, reinforcing, joint sealing and edge protecting framing system
A device for forming, reinforcing, joint sealing and edge protecting of a concrete slab panel, wherein the concrete slab panel having a volume, a length, a width, and a surface. The device comprising of an elongated post having a body, a top end and a bottom end with a plurality of elongated grooves extending along the body; a mounting frame has a length, a width and a thickness. The mounting frames having a connecting means to connect the mounting frame to the posts. The present invention eliminates the needs for saw-cut lines for crack inducement and acts as a joint sealer for the concrete slab to relieve the tensile stresses.
Reinforcement assemblies, fixtures, and methods
Reinforcement assemblies, reinforcement fixtures, methods of constructing a reinforcement assembly, and methods of constructing a reinforcement fixture are described herein. An example embodiment of a reinforcement assembly comprises a plate, a plurality of connectors, and a plurality of elongate members. The plate comprises a plate lengthwise axis, a plate center axis, a plate top surface, a plate bottom surface, and a plate outer surface. Each connector of the plurality of connectors is attached to the plate outer surface and each elongate member of the plurality of elongate members is attached to a connector of the plurality of connectors.
PREFABRICATED BRACKET ASSEMBLY INTEGRATED TO PREFABRICATED COLUMN ASSEMBLY FOR CONNECTING PC BEAMS
The present invention relates to a prefabricated bracket assembly integrated into a prefabricated column assembly for connecting PC beams, the end portions of PC beams being placed inside the prefabricated bracket assembly that is assembled on top of the prefabricated column assembly, into which concrete is poured so as to connect the PC beams and the prefabricated bracket assembly, thereby facilitating the connection of the PC beams to a factory-made prefabricated column assembly and allowing cost reduction.
CHECKER NUT FOR LOCKING A THREADED BODY TO A THREADED ROD AND CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY
A checker nut for locking a threaded body to a threaded rod includes a main body portion having a bearing surface for engaging a threaded body; the main body portion including a central opening with an inside surface; and a single female thread disposed on the inside surface and extending therefrom, the female thread for cooperating with threads on a threaded rod.
MECHANICALLY STABILIZED EARTH (MSE) RETAINING WALL EMPLOYING REINFORCEMENT RODS
Disclosed are embodiments of a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall that employs one or more reinforcement rods and that can be produced with inexpensive, widely available parts. A concrete panel is provided. A steel embed is provided with a loop and with first and second outwardly extending stems. The loop is secured within the concrete panel. A steel reinforcement rod is provided within backfill soil. A connector plate is welded at one end to the rod and is secured at another end to the stems via a fastener, such as a bolt and nut.
