Apparatus and methods for providing continuous structural support to footings and interconnected hollow core wall units
A system includes apparatus and methods for providing continuous structural support to footings and hollow core wall units. In operation, wire rope chairs, connectors, wedge pins, and a tensioner tool are used to interconnect wire rope within footings and hollow core wall units laid on the footings, allowing for continuous wire rope within selected units that when grouted, provide an interconnected reinforced structural wall that is safer to install than traditional methods, with other advantages.
REBAR SPACER
A rebar spacer installed in a rebar crossing portion includes a spacer body and a pair of installation metal fittings. The spacer body includes a main portion and a pair of leg portions integrally formed with the main portion. The pair of leg portions is protrudingly provided with an interval on a rebar-side surface of the main portion. The interval between the pair of leg portions is equal to or larger than a diameter of the rebar and a depth of the pair of leg portions in an installation direction is equal to or less than the diameter of the rebar. Each one of the pair of installation metal fittings has a structure such that one end portion is locked into one of the pair of leg portions and the other end portion is hooked on a back-side rebar.
APPARATUS FOR ARRANGING STEEL REINFORCEMENT PRIOR TO A CONCRETE POUR
A rebar support comprising: an elongate body have a first plurality of rebar cradles disposed along its length for holding rebars in a first direction; a plurality of chairs located along a back of the elongate body, each of the chairs including at least one cradle for holding steel reinforcement members in a second direction at right angles to the first direction; and first and second complementary engagement formations located at opposed ends of the elongate body for facilitating end-to-end fastening of two or more rebar supports.
Key-locked and band-tightened rebar clamping assemblies
A key-locked rebar clamping assembly includes a clamp that may be forced onto the perpendicular intersection of the upper and lower rods of crossed rebar and then held from below with a key. The assembly is readily installed by forcing the clamp over the intersection of the upper and lower rods and forcing the key through a keyway in opposing sides of the clamp. The assembly holds the rods together with the clamp at the top and the key at the bottom regardless of force, vibration, and the like applied to either rod. As the key constrains downward movement of the lower rod away from the clamp and the upper rod, the lower rod will not separate from the upper rod if walked on. The assembly reduces the need to alternate longitudinal adjacent rods between upper and lower positions, thus saving labor costs through the elimination of wire tying and complicated positioning.
Clip
In summary, the invention provides a clip for use in the construction of a reinforced concrete panel, the panel being reinforced by a mesh comprising a plurality of parallel line wires and a plurality of parallel cross-wires connected to the line wires, the clip comprising: a base configured to engage a side wall that, in use, defines a formwork of the panel; and a body extending from the base, the body being configured to retain a line wire or a cross-wire of the mesh in an operative position of the mesh.
Apparatus and Method of Vertically Adjusting Reinforcing Support Structure
A vertical adjustment mechanism for adjusting the height or elevation of one or more support structures relative to the reference surface. A chair and spacer may be used to adjust the elevation of the one or more support structures. The spacer may include one or more retention clips and/or receptacles.

SPACER CARRIER PLATE FOR RECEIVING FASTENING ELEMENTS ON SPACERS, AND METHOD FOR INSERTING THIS SPACER CARRIER PLATE IN SPACERS
A spacer carrier plate for receiving fasteners during the arrangement of spacers on the reinforcement of concrete constructions, including a planar carrier plate or a carrier frame, on the first surface of which fastening extensions for being received in the spacer are disposed, and on the second, opposite surface of which engagement receptacles and/or engagement surfaces for fasteners are disposed. A method for inserting the spacer carrier plate for receiving fasteners in spacers provides for the planar arrangement of releasably interconnected spacer carrier plates which are simultaneously inserted into the casting mold or a plurality of individual casting molds in an automated manner by a machine or manually.
