System for insulated concrete composite wall panels
A shear connector for use with insulated concrete panels. The shear connector comprises an elongated core member that includes a first end and a second end, and a flanged end-piece removably secured to one of the first end or the second end of the core member. At least a portion of the flanged end-piece includes a maximum diameter that is larger than a maximum diameter of the core member. The shear connector is configured to transfer shear forces.
STACKABLE WALL SPACER FOR SUPPORTING REINFORCEMENT IN CONCRETE CONSTRUCTIONS
Stackable wall spacer adapted for automated distribution using a feeder device and adapted to support a reinforcement grid, where the wall spacer comprises a plurality of leg sections each having a lower foot adapted to be placed on a mould surface for the concrete, where a plurality of wall spacers can be stacked in each other with the feet of one wall spacer extending into corresponding voids of a subsequent wall spacer, where the side wall of a leg section is parallel with the side wall of a leg section of a subsequent wall spacer. The advantage of the invention is that the wall spacers can be stacked in a space saving manner in each other, which allows a cost-efficient storage and transportation of wall spacers. The invention further allows for wall spacers that can be distributed by using a hand-held or automatic feeder device. Further, a reinforcement grid can be supported by a wall spacer regardless of the position of the spacer.
WEIGHT-REDUCING DISCS, SPECIALLY DESIGNED MESHES AND THE METHOD THAT INCLUDES THE AFORESAID, FOR PRODUCING WEIGHT-REDUCED STRUCTURE SUCH AS SLABS, PRE-SLABS, FLOORS, PARTITIONS AND BEAMS
This invention refers to a weight-lightening disc for making light reinforced concrete structures such as slabs, prefabricated slabs, foundation slabs, partition walls and beams; to a mesh, specifically designed for this invention and to the construction method to make such structures. The method allows manufacturing the components that make it possible to construct buildings with light reinforced concrete structures. The field of application of the invention is construction in general, such as houses, buildings and bridges.
The invention provides a solution to the problem of lightening of the structures, including a construction method that comprises a set of weight-lightening discs in combination with electro-welded meshes (specially designed for the each specific thickness of the slab) and the hooks that hold together the meshes.
The compound of elements and the method allow lightening minimum-thickness slabs.
BUILDING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a system for erecting a building structure, the system comprising a foundation for receiving the building structure, and a plurality of inner and outer walls, roof and floor panels, the panels being adapted to engage each other for defining at least one story of the building structure, wherein the foundation comprises a first section and a second section, the first section being adapted to bear the load of the building structure and the second section being adapted to provide access to the interiors of the building structure.
