Method of treating diabetic wounds using biosynthesized nanoparticles

The method of treating diabetic wounds using biosynthesized nanoparticles includes administering an effective amount of silver and gold nanoparticles to a patient in need thereof. The silver and gold nanocomposite is prepared by biosynthesis, i.e., by providing a first aqueous solution of a noble metal salt or a noble metal oxide; providing a second solution of an aqueous plant extract, and combining the first solution and the second solution to produce a solution including nanoparticles of the noble metal. The second solution includes a plant extract obtained from Solenostemma argel, Trigonella foenum-graecum and Cinnamomum cassia. The metal salt can include silver nitrate (AgNO.sub.3) and chloroauric acid (HAuCl.sub.4). Nanoparticles of gold and nanoparticles of silver are prepared separately, and then mixed to obtain a composition containing a gold and silver nanocomposite.

Therapeutic Applications of Honey and Amniotic Membrane for the Treatment of Disease
20180110900 · 2018-04-26 ·

A therapeutic material or pharmaceutical is composed of 1) amniotic membranes in a large intact sheet, 2) lysates of intact sheets of amniotic membrane, or 3) the non-particulate fluids produced while creating lysates of intact sheets of amniotic membrane. Any of the embodiments of the therapeutic material can be formed with or without the incorporation of complex chemicals like hyaluronic acid and/or honey and/or additional therapeutic cells. The device or fluid is used to treat diseased tissue. Lysates of the amniotic membrane can be formed into any desirable shape, and then dehydrated, to maintain the desired 3D form of the device.
