SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADHERING ROOF INSULATION PRODUCTS TO A ROOFING SUBSTRATE
A method and system for adhering roofing products to a supporting roof substrate, wherein ballast rock from a pre-existing roof insulation system is removed thereby exposing one or more layers of pre-existing insulation products supported by the roof substrate. In the case of new construction, the method contemplates installation of one or more layers of insulation products supported by the roof substrate. Core holes are formed through the one or more layers of insulation products thereby exposing the roof substrate. An anchor is attached to the roof substrate in each core hole void, and a binding agent is applied to each core hole void until the binding agent fills the core hole void, whereby the one or more layers of insulation products and roof substrate are locked together, preventing shifting of the insulation products without the need for adding ballast rocks thereon
Panelized roofing system
A roofing system including a plurality of roofing panels that can be releasably secured to rafters or other supports of the roof by connectors. In embodiments, the connectors can include first and second connectors, each of which can include a plate with a projection extending therefrom, and with the plates defining flanges on each side of the projection. The plates of the first and second connectors are configured to seat on and at least partially extend along one of the rafters of the roof structure and along exterior facing surfaces of adjacent ones of the roofing panels to releasibly secure the roofing panels to the rafters.
Structural modular building panel, wall, and building system
This invention relates to prefabricated, lightweight, multi-component structural modular building panels and modular building systems. The said panels are framed with edge members that have a unique connecting shape, making them modular. The multi-component panel allows for design flexibility and the mass manufacturing of its components. Connectors serve as a link to assemble the panels together, and to connect them to corners, floors or foundations, roof panels and the roof apex member, and or other conventional construction elements. Connectors and members, all with unique connecting shapes, coupled with the said panels, create a structural wall, roof, similar structure or building system. Assembled panels and members incorporate the primary building structure and the building envelope. The assembled panels, members and other components of the building system, in part or whole, can be flat packed for easy transport and shipping, and can be assembled quickly and easily with semi-skilled labor.
Fastener for Corrugated Sheet
A fastener for a corrugated sheet includes a cylindrical assembly including elongated, plate shaped fastening members assembled as a hollow cylinder, the fastening member tapered to one end to form a hook at one end and having a curved groove on an outer surface, and a curved trough on the outer surface at the other end of the fastening member, the curved troughs assembled to form an annular recess; a retainer ring secured to the annular recess; a ring-shaped elastic member secured to the curved groove; a first sealing member put on the retainer ring; and a washer; a threaded bolt driven through the washer, the retainer ring, and the fastening member; and an expansion nut having a multi-sided outer surface and moveably secured to the threaded bolt.
MULTI-LAYER ROOF SYSTEM
The present invention provides a multi-layer roof system, and an installation method. The multi-layer roof system comprises a roof truss; and a multi-layer panel comprising a base layer, a plurality of intermediate layers, and at least one coating layer placed over the plurality of intermediate layers. The base layer comprises at least one membrane of waterproof or water resistant material configured to provide an under-laminate capable of being affixed to a building structure with no screws. The plurality of intermediate layers comprises a first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer and a third intermediate layer. The first intermediate layer comprises a cooling layer. The second intermediate layer comprises a mesh layer. The third intermediate layer comprises a reflecting layer. The at least one coating layer may comprise a plurality of coating layers. The multi-layer roof system provides a multi-layer building roof structure configured to be both structurally sound and energy efficient.
Building panels and method of forming building panels
A building panel structure is disclosed, in which building panels are used to form a structure. Roof panels and roof panel tiles are disclosed, which can be used to form the roof of the structure. The roof panels and the building panels include a core and a coating covering a portion of the core. In some embodiments the core consists of a frame and at least one insulating structural block. The insulating structural blocks can be encapsulated polystyrene (EPS) foam blocks. In some embodiments the coating includes ceramic material. In some embodiments the coating includes a first layer and a second layer. In some embodiments the coating is used to retrofit existing wall structures. The roof panel and the roof tile can be shaped, formed, and colored to look like traditional roof tiles such as shake roof tiles or Spanish roof tiles.
Real-time spatial daylighting analysis for a 3D geometric structure
Various embodiments provide systems and methods enabling a user to receive feedback regarding a computer-implemented design of an architectural structure as the user is designing or otherwise modifying the computer-implemented design using a computer-aided design (CAD) software tool. The feedback (hereafter also referred to as “design feedback”) may provide the user with useful analysis information regarding the architectural structure's predicted characteristics (e.g., operational performance, resource consumption, cost, etc.) based on the current state of the computer-implemented design. In particular, daylighting analyses pertinent to the computer-implemented design of the architectural structure can be visually displayed to the user in real or near-real-time.
DURABLE ROOF STRUCTURE WITH FROST RESISTANCE AND HIGH DUCTILITY AND A CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The invention discloses a durable roof structure with frost resistance and high ductility and a construction method thereof, belonging to the technical field of roofing, and comprises a base layer, a leveling layer, a flexible waterproof coating, a thermal insulation layer and a crack-resistant and frost-resistant surface layer arranged in sequence from bottom to top. The invention not only has lower requirements on construction conditions and simple operation, but also reduces the generation of large cracks, effectively improves the crack resistance and frost resistance of the roof, improves the roof structure, and is more suitable for the northern cold region.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A MINERAL WOOL PRODUCT COMPRISING A MULTIPLE OF LAMELLAE AND A PRODUCT OF SUCH KIND
A method and a mineral wool product include a multiple of lamellae, such as a sandwich panel core. The product includes a plurality of lamellae cut from a mineral wool web, and bonded together by applying an adhesive on the surfaces of two adjacent lamellae to form a web-like product, wherein the adhesive comprises at least one hydrocolloid.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ISOCYANATE-BASED FOAM CONSTRUCTION BOARDS
A process for producing a polyurethane or polyisocyanurate construction board, the process comprising of providing an A-side reactant stream that includes an isocyanate-containing compound; providing a B-side reactant stream that includes a polyol, where the B-side reactant steam includes a blowing agent mixture including isopentane and a blowing agent additive that has a Hansen Solubility Parameter (δ.sub.t) that is greater than 15 MPa.sup.0.5; and mixing the A-side reactant stream with the B-side reactant stream to produce a reaction mixture.
