Polyisocyanurate coverboards with improved fire resistance
A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft.sup.3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.
Equipment for fitting panels for insulating covers
Equipment for fitting panels for insulating covers, such as standing seam panels for insulating housing roofs, includes an upper sheet, a lower sheet and an expanded polymer intermediate layer. A working unit extends along a longitudinal axis, which corresponds to the working line of the panels. A supply unit is coupled to the working unit, by a transfer unit extending along a horizontal longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the working unit, for supplying reinforcement plates having a thrust portion and a flat portion. The working unit includes a carriage movable along the longitudinal axis. The carriage includes dies configured to cut and deform one end of the upper sheet of the panels and a thrust member for introducing reinforcement plates into a tail end of the expanded polymer intermediate layer. The thrust member is placed downstream of the dies along the working direction of the panels.
ENHANCED ROOFING SYSTEM
A roof system includes a roof deck, a weighted cover board disposed upwardly adjacent the roof deck and a plurality of fasteners coupling the weighted cover board to the roof deck.

Fire resistant composite boards and methods
Embodiments of the invention provide roofing boards and roofing systems having improved fire resistance properties and methods related to the same. According to one aspect, a roofing system is provided. The roofing system includes roofing panels positioned atop structural support members to form a roof deck. Roofing boards are positioned atop the roof deck and coupled thereto and a roofing membrane is positioned atop the roofing boards and coupled therewith. The roofing boards include a coating of a mineral based material applied to one or more surfaces in an amount between the range of about 0.10 lbs/ft.sup.2 and about 0.70 lbs/ft.sup.2. The mineral based material coating enables the roofing boards to pass the UL 790 class A tests, such as the burning brand test.
High-performance torchable thermal insulating panel for buildings roofs
Separating membrane of plastic material, made up of a bossed and waterproof sheet which is coupled with a permeable base layer. The bosses are of the cylindrical type with a double diameter and have such a shape and arrangement as to feature improved adhesion on both faces. The gripping of the adhesive is increased in order to obtain greater tear strength, on the upper face, and at the same time increases the area of contact with the base layer for a greater resistance to delamination on the lower face. In particular, inside each chamber there is an internal crown, which divides it like a necking into two superimposed compartments having the same diameter, wherein the first compartment has a depth amounting to at least of the total. A production process for obtaining the membrane is also disclosed.
Metal roofing member, production method thereof, roofing structure and roofing method
A metal roofing member 1 is disposed side by side with another metal roofing member on a roof base. The metal roofing member 1 has a box-shaped front substrate 10 made of a metal sheet, a rear substrate 11 disposed on the rear side of the front substrate 10, so as to cover an opening of the front substrate 10, and a core material 12 made from a foam resin and filled in between the front substrate 10 and the rear substrate 11. The front substrate 10 results from forming the metal sheet into a box shape. The front substrate 10 has a side wall portion that is continuous in the circumferential direction and is formed by performing drawing or bulging processing on the metal sheet. The front substrate 10 has a height of 4 mm to 8 mm.
