Metal roof/wall apparatus including sliding clips
A metal roof construction provides a roof frame that includes multiple rafters. A plurality of clips or anchor plates are fastened to each rafter. Each anchor plate or clip has an anchor plate space surrounded by one or more plate members. The anchor plate has a plurality of spaced apart openings. A sliding anchor occupies the anchor plate space. Each sliding anchor has multiple spaced apart pedestals that extend from the anchor plate space upwardly through an opening. Multiple roof decking sections are mounted on the rafters. Each decking section extends under a part of the anchor plate. The anchor plate has one or more flaps that extend downwardly from the decking sections and next to a rafter. Fasteners attach each flap to a rafter.
Devices and systems for mounting solar panels to metal roofs
Disclosed are standing seam clamps and solar panel racking systems that include the standing seam clamps. The standing seam clamps may include detents in the sides of their clamp bodies that allow a solar panel clamp to secure to the clamp body without threaded fasteners. The standing seam clamp includes structure to secure solar panel racking system without rails. The standing seam clamp may be optionally structured to secure both rail-less and rail-base solar panel racking systems.
RETENTION APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An a clamp connector apparatus, system, and method for mounting a solar panel to a cross member while retaining snow, ice, items and other objects on a wall, rooftop and other structure. A clamp mounting apparatus, system, and method for mounting the retention apparatus and system to a stanchion assembly for a membrane roof thereby joining the cross member anchor assembly to a latch assembly of top block.
Thermal expansion retention clip
A retention clip for use with a panel system has a base plate having a pair of opposing flanges at least one of which is configured for attaching to a support structure. An upright extends between the base plate and a top plate having a pair of opposing flanges and defines opposing first and second surfaces that in use are dimensioned to engage opposing first and second ends of a pair of first and second adjacent panels. At least the first surface supports a spacer element that is configured to prevent mutual abutment of opposing ends of the first and second panels at least during construction of the panel system.
CONCEALED PANEL CLIP FOR STANDING SEAM ROOF SYSTEM
A standing seam roof clip system has a clip base with a horizontal portion and a vertical portion extending upwardly therefrom, and a clip tab comprising a return bend having a U configuration extending from a lower end of a vertical back surface, and a top portion comprising a hook for engaging with a roof panel. An interlocking element is formed in the vertical portion of the clip base, and has at least one seat with a substantially a J configuration which extends upwardly and outwardly from the vertical portion of the clip base and a respective shoulder extending from a top edge of the vertical portion of the clip base in a reverse U configuration. A roof panel is joined to the roof clip via the clip tab to form a seam; and the clip tab return bend engages with the clip base shoulder and seat.
System for enhancing the thermal resistance of roofs and walls of buildings
A system for insulating a building comprising a first layer of rolled insulation disposed atop a longitudinally extending upper chord of a roof truss, a purlin or a girt of a wall. Discrete insulating spacer members are intermittently disposed atop the first insulation layer and along the longitudinally extending chord, purlin or girt. A three sided bridge with a plurality of tab elements overlaying and contiguous with the insulating spacer members. A second layer of rolled insulation disposed atop the bridge and panel clips secured with a fastener extending through each of the second layer of insulation, bridge, insulating spacer member, first layer of insulation and upper chord.
Coating cover for roofs of buildings
A coating cover with a metal structure for roofs of buildings comprises a plurality of slabs of substantially quadrilateral shape, each of which is provided with lateral edges that are parallel and opposite to one another for mutual connection between adjacent slabs in a longitudinal direction and for formation of a joint positioned between each of the adjacent slabs. The lateral edges comprise a first set of folds at least partially symmetrical on the two edges. The lateral edges also include a second set of folds on at least one of the lateral edges, and a third set of folds on at least one other lateral edge. The lateral edges comprise at least one curvature at one of the first set of folds placed horizontal and parallel to the installation base. The cover also has at least one fixing bracket that is configured to join the lateral edges.
