A seam plate for securing a post-installation incision of a roofing membrane, wherein seam plate provides a first portion and a second portion joined so as to define a lemniscate shape. A fastener aperture centrally disposed in each of the first and second portion. The seam plate dimensioned and adapted to secure the incision by spanning the incision so that the first and second portions are on opposites sides of the incision, and then fastening the first and second portions to structure subjacent the roofing membrane.

Adhesive-less roofing systems are provided. A roofing system comprises a roofing substrate and at least two roofing membranes. The at least two roofing membranes are located on the roofing substrate. The at least two roofing membranes are partially overlapping, so as to form an overlapping portion. Each of the at least two roofing membranes independently comprises a crosslinked polymer and a boron-containing compound. The present invention relates to means and methods for tensioning duck or canvas. In particular, the present invention provides a tensioning system wherein a canvas can be tensioned dynamically along one or two sides of a frame. The present invention also further provides a method for dynamic tensioning of a canvas on one or two sides of a frame.

A method includes obtaining a first membrane; obtaining a second membrane; wherein the first and/or second membrane include an uncured silicone edge portion; installing the first membrane above a roofing substrate; installing the second membrane above the roofing substrate; overlapping the first membrane and the second membrane; curing the uncured silicone edge portion; and providing a lap seal between the first membrane and the second membrane.

A method for sealing adjacent roofing membranes of a hybrid roofing assembly. The method involves applying a sealing strip to establish a connection between the adjacent roofing membranes and creating a durable water tight seal at a joint between the adjacent roofing membranes, using a water impermeable liquid applied membrane. The method enables connecting in a water-tight fashion two incompatible roofing membranes using a water impermeable liquid applied membrane, thereby enabling the creation of hybrid roofs and reducing both repair and installation expenses.
