Hooking drip edge assembly

A drip edge assembly having an underlying drip edge. A body portion includes first and second ribs extending therealong. The body portion includes an inner edge having a fold and an outer edge that includes a protrusion. A vertical wall extends downward from the body portion and includes a lower kick defining an inwardly-facing channel. An overlying drip edge includes a body portion having first and second ribs extending therealong. The body portion includes an inner edge having a fold and an outer edge that includes a protrusion. A vertical wall extends downward from the body portion and includes a lower kick defining a rearwardly-facing channel. The lower kick of the underlying drip edge is configured to define a pivot axis about which the overlying drip edge rotates during assembly.

Roofing drip edge device and a method of installing a roofing drip edge device

This invention, in embodiments, relates to a roofing drip edge device that includes a drip edge comprising (i) an upper drip edge that is configured to be installed along an edge of a roofing surface, and (ii) a lower drip edge that is approximately at a right angle to the upper drip edge, a flashing strip member that is secured to the upper drip edge of the drip edge, such that a portion of the flashing strip member overhangs a first side edge of the drip edge, and a connecting member that is secured to the drip edge, such that a portion of the connecting member overhangs a second side edge of the drip edge. This invention, in embodiments, further relates to a method of installing a roofing drip edge device.

DRIP EDGE
20180266115 · 2018-09-20 ·

A structurally robust roof drip edge system including a tail and an outer section contiguous with the tail. The tail includes a locally thin section nailable to a roof substrate. The outer section includes a bridging member connecting an inner footing and an outer footing. The outer footing includes a drip edge profile for directing the flow of water off of a roof. The inner footing is spaced from the outer footing by a suitable distance and configured to be placed against an eave as a positioning aid such that the drip edge can easily and reliably be installed with sufficient spacing for the installation of a fascia board behind the drip edge profile. The drip edge may be bendable to a user-selectable angle between the tail and the outer section to accommodate a range of roof pitches.

Roof edge structure for securing roofing materials
10077558 · 2018-09-18 ·

A ridge structure at a roof edge, having a base panel lying on a roof surface and a hollow ridge structure over the base panel. The hollow ridge structure is constructed in a flat spring form along the eaves, and therefore one slope of the ridge faces the roof and the other slope the opposite direction. The slope facing the roof can be lifted to receive and secure roofing materials between the slope and the base panel. When water flows down the roof surface, most water flows over the ridge structure and the rest flows into the hollow space inside the ridge structure and drains through drain holes on the base panel.

Device for terminating a bottom section having a slab or stone cladding

An apparatus is described for terminating a floor section (2) having a slab or stone paving (3) comprising a fastening leg (1) running parallel to the floor and a terminating leg (6) which protrudes from this fastening leg (1) and which is bent backwards in a fold-like manner at its end (9) opposite the fastening leg (1) and comprising a U-shaped plug-on profile (10) which can be plugged onto this terminating leg (6). In order to enable fairly large quantities of water to flow off easily, it is proposed that a web (7) which slopes down from the fastening leg (1) and forms a channel jointly with the terminating leg (6) is arranged between the fastening leg (1) and the terminating leg (6).

Prefabricated Flashing Product
20180195336 · 2018-07-12 ·

A prefabricated flashing product for an opening in an exterior surface of a structure includes a generally planar flange shaped to conform to the exterior surface, the flange extending outwardly from an entire perimeter of an aperture therein that corresponds to the opening, and a return that seals to the flange about the aperture and extends substantially perpendicularly therefrom toward an inward direction of the opening. The flange and the return are monolithically formed of a waterproof material. A method of integrating a fenestration product into an opening of an exterior surface of a structure includes inserting the flashing product described above into the opening, and inserting the fenestration product at least partially into the aperture of the flashing product.
