METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING GUTTER HOLE
A gutter punch is described herein including a base having a top side and a bottom side, a first side wall, a second side wall, wherein the first and second side walls are attached to the bottom side of the base and angle inwardly and downwardly from the base, a front wall, a back wall, wherein the front wall and the back wall are attached to the bottom side of the base and angle inwardly and downwardly from the base, a gutter punch, wherein the gutter punch is connected approximately in the center of each of the connecting plates and is substantially perpendicular to the connecting plates, and a handle connected to the top side of the base.
GAZEBO
Disclosed are example embodiments of an improved gazebo. The gazebo can be a louvered gazebo. The gazebo can comprise a gutter-beam system, a louver-slat system(s), a control system, and a multi-angle-allowing-coupling-post post-leveling base system. The gazebo can include one or more of the following: side gutter beams, end gutter beams, gutters, securing bars, reversible spacers, securing screws, louver slats, louver-slat-rotation receiving holes, cradle axels, and open cradles, to name a few. The gazebo can be economical to produce, easy to ship, and easily and quickly assembled.
Overflow device
A rainhead (1) comprising: a tub member (3); an internal receptacle (8) in the tub member (3) having an internal wall (7) forming a weir spaced from an external wall (9) of the tub member (3); an inlet (4) arranged to direct water flowing from a gutter into the internal receptacle (8); and, a chute (11) between the internal wall (7) and the external wall (9), the chute (11) being arranged to receive water overflowing from the internal receptacle (8) to allow it to drain from the chute (11) through a chute outlet (13).
Waterfall Gutter System
A waterfall gutter system comprises at least one J-shaped rain gutter configured to be attached to edges of a roof wherein mounting hardware is located at an underside of the gutter and a funnel independently attachable at its lower end to a top end of a downspout wherein there is a vertical gap between a top of the funnel and an end of the gutter wherein water can be seen to flow or not flow from the end of the gutter into the top of the funnel from a position of a person standing at ground level.
HYBRIDIZED CANOPY
An example canopy includes a plurality of panels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of sequences, including a first sequence, second sequence, and a third sequence. The second sequence is disposed between the first and third sequences and forms a rainwater collection channel The panels of the second sequence are angled with respect to the panels of the first and third sequences to optimize solar radiation and rainwater collection efficiency. Photovoltaic cells are provided on a flexible top surface of some or all of the panels. A hybrid canopy, a method of making a hybrid canopy, and a method of using and learning from a hybrid canopy, are shown and described.
ADJUSTABLE APPARATUS FOR WATER CAPTURE
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for water capture. A water collection opening is shaped to collect water from a water source. A water outlet is in fluid communication with a water collection opening to receive collected water from a water source through the water collection opening. A horizontal adjustment mechanism is configured to provide mechanical support to a water outlet and a water collection opening at any one of a plurality of user selectable positions at different horizontal offsets relative to a water source to accommodate different sizes and types of water sources.
Water Directing Apparatus
The present invention provides apparatuses that allow water from canales to be captured and communicated with water collection systems for storage or dispersal. Embodiments of the present invention accommodate existing canales with minimal or no modification to the canale or building or roof structure. Example embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus with a catchment portion defining a volume that accepts water from a canale and communicates water to a collection system (where a collection system can communicate with a storage system or a dispersal system). The catchment portion is mounted to the canale using an attachment portion of the apparatus such that water from the canale enters the catchment portion, but such that excess water can overflow the catchment portion and fall to the ground.
