A gutter guard device is described, comprising: a bridge member composed of a sheet or micro-mesh decking material having a plurality of orifices, and having a roof side and an opposing gutter lip side; at least one girder spanning a bottom surface of the bridge member from a proximal end of the bridge member's roof side to a proximal end of the bridge member's gutter lip side; a roof attachment member attached to an end section of the roof side of the bridge member and configured to attach to a roof; and a gutter attachment member attached to an end section of the gutter lip side of the bridge member and configured to attach to a gutter lip, wherein the device is self-supporting.

The present disclosure relates to gutter systems and gutter covers that prevent preventing debris from falling into and clogging a gutter. The gutter cover includes a longitudinally extending body having a front end and a rear end, a generally planar front portion and a generally planar rear portion. The gutter cover also includes a middle portion disposed between the front portion and the rear portion, the middle portion including a longitudinally extending first ridge. The first ridge is contoured to avoid contact with a mounting bracket of the gutter system.

A water outlet is in fluid communication with a water collection opening to receive collected water from a water source through the water collection opening. A horizontal adjustment mechanism is configured to provide mechanical support to a water outlet and a water collection opening at any one of a plurality of user selectable positions at different horizontal offsets relative to a water source to accommodate different sizes and types of water sources.

One example is a clip that includes a back section and a front section extending from the bottom of the back section. The back section and the front section are generally perpendicular to each other. The back section includes a slot arranged to accommodate the rear edge of a rain gutter so that the clip can be attached to a rain gutter. The clip further includes two side members extending upward on either side of the front section. The side members each include an arm section that defines an opening in each side member. The openings are arranged to accommodate and secure features of gutter guard systems. In one example, the openings are arranged to accommodate legs extending rearward from a lower portion of gutter guard systems.

A gutter guard for retaining a gutter and for covering an opening of the gutter provided. The gutter has a front wall and a rear wall and the opening is defined by a top edge of the front wail and the top edge of the rear wall. The gutter guard includes a front portion for operatively engaging the front wall of the gutter, a rear portion having an upwardly and rearwardly extending hook member for retaining the rear wall of the gutter and an upstanding member fastenable to an upstanding support structure, and a central portion extending between the front portion and the rear portion and having a plurality of throughholes formed therein. The gutter guard may be multi-layered, having a first sheet member and a second sheet member that are spaced apart and having non-aligned throughholes. A gutter guard kit can include at least one gutter guard and a gutter that are operatively engageable with one another.
