A gutter cover for covering an open top of a gutter having front, rear and bottom walls defining a gutter channel, the gutter cover comprising: front and rear mounting portions operatively engageable with the front and rear walls of the gutter; a central cover portion extending between the front and rear mounting portions and having a plurality of drainage throughholes defined therein, the central cover portion including at least one fold extending in a lengthwise direction of the gutter cover along a longitudinal fold axis and a plurality of fold openings spaced apart from each other and located along the at least one fold to increase flexibility of the central cover portion along the at least one fold to facilitate bending of the central cover portion along the at least one fold, the fold openings being elongated in shape and extending longitudinally along the longitudinal fold axis.

A gutter debris preclusion device for use with a gutter having a support structure being substantially rigid; a screen having a plurality of apertures and being disposed on the support structure; and, a fastener member disposed on the support structure and having a barrier member and a protective film removably attached to the barrier member.

Certain aspects relate to an apparatus for fire protection to a peak of a roof of a structure including a fire-retardant conduit mounted to the peak of the roof. The fire-retardant conduit includes a channel having sidewalls, each sidewall including a top portion having a lip; a channel windbreak configured to cover the channel and the lip of the channel; and a fire-retardant source pipe coupling the fire-retardant conduit to a fire-retardant source to supply fire-retardant into the channel.

A cover for water flow inlet for rainwater drainage of roof and buildings is disclosed. The inlet cover comprises an outer formation forming a plurality of ridged fins to avoid the vortex formation of rainwater entrainment and to protect the cover from debris materials and a central plate member. The central plate member has a profiled lower surface. The plate member is of an inverted shape with a plurality of ridged formation or channels on the lower surface to further eliminate formation of air inducing and vortices, therefore promoting high volume laminar flow of water in the inlet pipe of the drainage system.

An apparatus for use with a rain gutter and a downspout has a first portion which rests in the rain gutter and includes apertures extending between an exterior and an interior of the insert to allow water to flow from the rain gutter into the interior of the insert when the insert is resting in the rain gutter. The insert further includes a second portion extending downward from the first portion. The second portion includes an interior in fluid communication with the first portion to allow the water to flow from the interior of the first portion through the second portion and into the downspout. The apparatus also includes an adapter plate having an aperture to receive the second portion of the insert such that the second portion of the insert can extend through the adapter plate into the downspout when the apparatus is in the rain gutter.
