Gutter extension fastening system
A gutter fastening system for a building allows a downspout extension to be selectively attached to an elbow joint of a downspout. A plurality of mounting members that can be screws are screwed through the downspout and/or the downspout extension. A flexible elastic piece that serves as a linkage member is then placed on a first portion of the screws and secures the downspout extension to the downspout. The elastic piece is selectively removable from the downspout and the downspout extension allowing the downspout extension to be removed from the downspout.
Device and associated method for downspout alignment
A device maintains proper downspout conductor pipe spacing and alignment. This stationary device attaches directly to the foundation of a home in any location utilizing different embodiments for straight walls, inside corners and outside corner conditions. The device provides fixtures or mounts to position the downspout accurately and reliably relative to the foundation and other components of the house or building. The device may be turned vertically in conjunction with a specifically formed soil and gravel guard to run downspout conductor pipes along the outside of a foundation before it is backfilled. By installing this system before backfilling, the installer is able to chalk line a path with consistent fall to ensure proper water flow through the pipe.
Gutter downspout extension holding device
A gutter extension holding device which inserts at a terminal portion of a gutter extension includes a connecting piece or cap having four side portions which operate as a collar around the extension and at least one tab extending rearward and defining a channel configured to receive a terminal end of the extension. The device includes a stake to insert in the ground to retain the extension in position. The channel is tapered to accommodate a friction fit of the inserted extension, and a frame outlines a flow opening of the device against which the extension abuts. In one aspect three tabs are configured to receive the extension, where a bottom side portion is devoid of a tab to accommodate uninhibited flow of water or materials from the extension.
Systems for collecting rainwater and recycling grey water
Systems for water collection and recycling are described herein. A downspout having a downspout groove is vertically disposed on an exterior wall. Electrical wiring that is operatively connected to at least one electrical power generator is disposed along the downspout groove. The downspout and electrical power generator are supported by downspout brackets. The downspout is fluidly connected to a gutter and an outdoor water storage tank for collecting rain water. A water pump moves grey water from a shower tub drainage pipeline to a water path switch valve. A control switch directs the water path switch valve to divert the grey water to a toilet storage tank, an outdoor water storage tank, or a washing machine water tank.
Integral Roof Drainage System (RainVein)
A roof drainage system designed to be in-line with the rain-screen-type exterior wall finish assembly to discharge run-off water to a drainage location, including a gutter assembly recessed into the roof edge structure connected to a downspout assembly that is recessed into the exterior finish material outboard of the rigid insulation and weather barrier that allows for ease of maintenance, clean out, and replacement; with a day-lit or sub-grade tie-in type outlet; that also visually blends into the faade.
BUILDING DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A drainage system for a side of a building includes a channel, a channel adapter, a fluid conduit, and a downspout adapter. The channel includes attachment apparatus for attaching to the side of the building, and a flow channel configured such that water flowing down the side of the building drains into the flow channel. The channel adapter fluidly connects to the flow channel. The fluid conduit fluidly connected to the channel adapter. The downspout adapter fluidly connects to the fluid conduit and is configured to fluidly connect to a downspout.
A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A ROOF DRAIN ELEMENT
The invention relates to a method for producing a roof drain element comprising steps of: i) Providing a digital model of a roof drain element (1) and ii) Based on the digital model, producing a roof drain element (1) by additive manufacturing, wherein the roof drain element (1) comprises a baseplate (2) having upper and lower major surfaces (21, 22) and at least one hollow tubular section (3) extending outwardly from the upper major surface (21) of the baseplate (2), and wherein step ii) comprises: ii1) Providing a baseplate (2) and H2) Producing tubular section(s) (3) to the upper major surface (21) of the baseplate (2) by using a 3D printer, preferably a fused filament fabrication or a fused particle fabrication printer.
