Drainage System and Apparatus for Treating Runoff
A drainage system, comprising a collector which is arranged to collect liquid and a drainage pipe having a pipe inlet that opens into the collector such that liquid collected by the collector drains through the pipe inlet. The drainage pipe is provided with a vent spaced away from the pipe inlet. The vent is arranged such that, when liquid collected by the collector occludes the pipe inlet, liquid flowing through the drainage pipe draws air into the drainage pipe through the vent.
Downspout Water System
A system is provided that includes a downspout upper and lower section whereby the lower section selectively pivots from a substantially vertical to horizontal position.
Diverter and lid assembly for use with a rain barrel device and system
A diverter for a rain barrel includes a scoop portion configured to fit within a gutter downspout, a rain barrel fitting portion configured to fluidly attach the scoop portion to the rain barrel, and a wing extending outwardly from the scoop portion to direct a flow of water in the gutter downspout towards the scoop portion.
Rainwater reservoir
An insert (400) for a rainwater downpipe (300) is fluidly coupled between a first section (310) and a second section (320) of the rainwater downpipe (300). A rainwater reservoir (500) is defined within the insert (400) to store the rainwater received from the first section (310) therein. The rainwater reservoir (500) includes a side surface (510), a bottom surface (520) and an outlet opening (522) fluidly coupled to the second section (320). A valve element (530) is disposed within the rainwater reservoir (500) to allow or deny the passage of the stored rainwater in the rainwater reservoir (500) through the outlet opening (522). The insert (400) is characterized in that the side surface (510) of the rainwater reservoir (500) further defines a rainwater harvesting opening (549) adapted to allow access to the rainwater stored in the rainwater reservoir (500).
System for controlling rain water flow
A system for controlling rain water flow includes a container having a top end and an opposite bottom end. A drain tube having a drain port is connected to the container. A cover tube slidably receives the drain tube. A magnetic latch is disposed between the drain tube and the cover tube. The system includes a fill configuration in which the magnetic latch is magnetically engaged and the cover tube covers and seals the drain port of the drain tube. The system also includes a drain configuration in which the magnetic latch is magnetically disengaged and the drain tube slides downward to expose the drain port.
