CUP-RESISTANT ROOF COVERBOARD PANELS
A method may include placing a bottom facer on a conveyor, placing a core layer on the bottom facer placing a top facer on the core layer, and pressing the bottom facer, the core layer, and the top facer in a hot press to form a panel, wherein the hot press causes the bottom facer to shrink relative to the top facer, introducing a warp into the panel such that, when installed, the warp compensates for an installation warp and the panel is flat upon installation.
FLUTE FILLER
A flute filler for a standing seam metal roof having a plurality of ribs and having valleys therebetween comprising is provided. The flute filler comprises a sheet having a plurality of planks secured thereto. The planks are arranged to be side by side at spaced intervals such that each plank is adapted to be disposed in a valley and the sheet overlies the planks when the flute filler is situated on the roof. A cover board and a roofing membrane may be disposed over the sheet of the flute filler. In order to situate the flute filler on the roof, the planks are placed in a valley of the standing seam roof which can be accomplished by unrolling a rolled flute filler.
PRE-ASSEMBLED DECKING PANEL AND STRUT ASSEMBLY FOR DATA CENTER CEILINGS AND ROOFS
A pre-assembled decking panel and strut assembly for data center ceilings and roofs including a decking panel that is a sheet metal in a shape of a wave and an elongated strut member configured such that hanging systems can be attached to the elongated strut member. The peaks and valleys of the decking panel and the strut member extend in a first direction and are spaced in parallel in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A top wall of the strut member is affixed to a peak of the decking panel.
Gypsum panels, systems, and methods
Gypsum panels, methods for their manufacture, and systems and methods for monitoring environmental conditions with such panels are provided herein. The panels include a gypsum core having a first surface and an opposed second surface, a first facer material associated with the first surface of the gypsum core, and an environmental sensor assembly associated with the gypsum panel and configured to detect an environmental condition of the gypsum panel and wirelessly communicate data on the environmental condition to a reader.
STABILIZED HORIZONTAL ROOF DECK ASSEMBLIES
A horizontal roof deck assembly has a ribbed steel roof deck sufficiently strong to withstand specified gravity, uplift, and shear loads. Rigid substrate boards are positioned adjacent one another above the deck, defining end and side joints. End joints are parallel to and above a corresponding upper rib of the roof deck and are secured to the upper rib by compression disk fasteners spaced along the end joint. The side joints can be tongue and groove joints. Additional fasteners attach the substrate boards to the roof deck along the side joints, for wind uplift resistance, and for thermal movement resistance.
ADHESIVE-BACKED COMPOSITE INSULATION BOARDS WITH VACUUM-INSULATED CAPSULES
A composite insulation board comprising of a vacuum-insulated capsule; a foam body that encases said capsule, said foam body having first and second opposed planar surfaces; and a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive disposed, either directly or indirectly, on one of said first and second opposed planar surfaces.
Roof edge mounting bracket for extended insulation
A roof edge mounting bracket preferably includes a base member and a vertical attachment flange. The base member extends outward in a horizontal orientation from the vertical attachment flange. A lower portion of the vertical attachment flange extends below the base member and an upper portion of the vertical attachment flange extends above the base member. A plurality of staggered fastener openings are preferably formed through the base member. An angled roof edge bracket includes a base member and a vertical attachment flange. The base member extends from the vertical attachment flange at an acute angle. A cantilevered roof edge bracket preferably includes a cantilevered base member and a vertical attachment flange. A roof edge angle bracket includes a base member and a vertical attachment flange. A roof edge vertical bracket preferably includes a vertical attachment flange, a bottom offset lip and an upper retaining lip.
Foam insulation with improved low temperature properties using polyol additives
A polyisocyanurate foam insulation product is produced from an isocyanate component and a polyol-containing component including a blowing agent. The polyol-containing component comprises one or more polyols, a fire retardant, and a hydroxyl-containing low-molecular-weight additive effective to increase the R-value per inch of the insulation product as measured at 40? F., as compared with an otherwise-identical formulation lacking the hydroxyl-containing low-molecular-weight additive. The polyisocyanurate foam insulation product may have an R-value per inch of at least 6.0 when measured at 40? F. and may have an R-value per inch of at least 5.5 when measured at 25? F. Suitable hydroxyl-containing low-molecular-weight additives may include triethanolamine, trimethylolpropane, N-methyldiethanolamine, 1,4 butanediol, or another suitable multi-functional alcohol or combination of multi-functional alcohols.
Edge Metal System
A roof edging system that includes a base anchor, a fascia cover, and a compression system that is used to provide compression thereby, allowing the fascia cover to snap into place on the base anchor.
