Edge Metal System
A roof edging system that includes a base anchor, a fascia cover, and a compression system that is used to provide compression thereby, allowing the fascia cover to snap into place on the base anchor.
Pre-assembled decking panel and strut assembly for data center ceilings and roofs
A pre-assembled decking panel and strut assembly for data center ceilings and roofs including a decking panel that is a sheet metal in a shape of a wave and an elongated strut member configured such that hanging systems can be attached to the elongated strut member. The peaks and valleys of the decking panel and the strut member extend in a first direction and are spaced in parallel in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A top wall of the strut member is affixed to a peak of the decking panel.
Subframe support for retrofit roof
A subframe configuration for a retrofit roof includes a subframe connected to the upper surface of a rib on an existing roof. The subframe is also connected to the valley/purlin of the existing roof. The connection can be a mechanical interference connection or one that is formed by a mechanical connector. The subframe of the disclosure includes a rib flange that extends from the bottom of the lip. The rib flange is disposed substantially parallel to the base of the subframe. When installed, a connector extends through the rib flange into a rib of the existing roof. Rib flange can be continuous or provided only at each or just some of the ribs.
MOLDED INSULATION PANELS FOR A METAL ROOF
An insulation panel for a metal roof and method of fabrication thereof is provided. The insulation panel includes a body formed of a moldable insulating material, the body having a first surface facing away from the metal roof panel to which the body is to be applied on and a second surface opposed from the first surface and configured to mate with the metal roof, wherein the second surface of the body comprises a non-planar surface shaped to conform to a profile of the metal roof. The insulation panel is thus provided as an integrally formed panel that may be form-fitted to the specific metal roof panel type to which it is to be applied, so as to reduce materials costs and installation costs associated therewith and provide an increased R value associated with the panel.
Membrane roofing
A foam roofing underlayment is provided with a reinforcement membrane having an array of fastener elements for engaging fastener elements on a flexible roof membrane. The underlayment is formed by molding foam between the reinforcement membrane and a carrier membrane. The underlayment in secured to the roof using washers having fastener elements for engaging the fastener elements of the flexible roof membrane. An anti-peel flap with fastener elements is provided around the periphery of the washers. A slip sheet is used between the underlayment and the flexible roof membrane to permit accurate positioning of the flexible roof membrane prior to engagement of the fastener elements. The interstices between the fastener elements provide lateral moisture paths to vents in the flexible roof membrane.
Thermal and/or acoustic insulation system as waterproofing for a flat or a flat inclined roof of a building and method for producing a thermal and/or acoustic insulation system as waterproofing
The disclosure relates to a thermal and/or acoustic insulation system as waterproofing for a flat or flat inclined outside surface of a building, especially for a flat roof or a flat inclined roof, consisting of at least one insulation element made of mineral wool, preferably made of stone wool, and having a major surface, and a lining element consisting of at least a first layer made of lining material and a second layer made of a glue activatable by heat and oriented to the major surface of the insulation element, whereby the major surface of the insulation element is free of protrusions, especially flights, and cavities thereby being planar and whereby the area connection between the insulation element and the lining element is at least 70%, preferably at least 80% of the major surface area of the insulation element.
CONSTRUCTION PANELS, MATERIALS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Construction panels and other materials, methods for their manufacture, and systems and methods for monitoring environmental conditions with such panels are provided herein. The panels include a core having a first surface and an opposed second surface, and an environmental sensor assembly associated with the panel and configured to detect an environmental condition of the panel and wirelessly communicate data on the environmental condition to a reader.
Methods of replacing compromised composite-strength concrete roofs
Retrofitting a horizontal building roof having a pre-existing, composite-strength concrete roof having a corrugated steel deck with concrete poured over the deck top. Replacing the pre-existing roof with a dry-installed composite-strength roof having a rigid sheet installed over a corrugated steel deck, the rigid sheet attached to the deck by mechanical fasteners extending through the rigid sheet and the upper ribs of the corrugated deck. The newly installed roof restrains the upper ribs against lateral distortion under loading, thus forcing the corrugated deck to maintain shape and operate to composite capacities in excess of predictable flexural load capabilities of its components considered alone.
