TOOL FOR DESIGNING STAIR STRINGERS
An apparatus includes a base having a horizontal member and a vertical member substantially perpendicular to each other and wherein the horizontal member and the vertical member are substantially rectangular in shape, a first stop on a distal end of the horizontal member and a second stop on a distal end of the vertical member and wherein the horizontal member has a second end on the opposite side of the vertical member from the first stop and wherein a bottom edge of the second end is substantially aligned with a bottom edge of the horizontal member.

Wedge Tread Stair Box System
A stair box system made of a stair box core, stringers, risers and treads. The inner surfaces of the stringers have a discontinuous series of mortises positioned to engage only with the treads. Each tread is beveled from the front to back surfaces and each of the riser is beveled from the top to the bottom surface. Each tread features one or more notches cut into its back surface and each riser includes a complementary hook cut into its bottom surface. The hooks on the risers engage the notches on the treads forming an open-faced channel. Removable covers fit over the treads of the stair box core. These covers protect the stair box core and/or they feature decorative building materials like hardwood or tile. The system allows the user to upgrade their stairs by replacing the covers with covers featuring a different finished surface.

MODULAR STAIRCASE
Disclosed is a modular staircase suitable for use in a structure. The staircase comprises at least one stringer having an elongate axis. The stringer is configured for extending between a first floor of the structure and a second floor of the structure. The stringer has a box-section profile and at least two flanges projecting from a first wall of the stringer profile. The staircase further comprises at least one spigot configured for mounting with the at least two flanges such that an axis of the spigot can extend at an angle with respect to the stringer elongate axis. The staircase further comprises at least one tread support for coupling to the stringer via the at least one spigot. When the angle of the spigot axis is adjusted relative to the stringer elongate axis, the tread support is able to be orientated at an angle relative to the stringer in-use.

STAIRCASE WITH ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT RISERS
A staircase kit, device, and method that uses precut, fixed-sized components capable of producing building code-compliant staircases that can accommodate foot or more differences in home story heights. The design uses fixed-length stringers and adjustable height risers. The angle between the stringers to the floor changes depending on the height of the adjustable height risers and story height. The angles of the steps, stringers and banisters/handrails are configured to adjust with respect to the other components with the aid of turnbuckles and movable joints or bolts, thus keeping the steps and landings level at different story heights. This enables homeowners, generally exempt from contractor license requirements, to use a prefabricated kit to build code-compliant stairways in their homes with little or no staircase cutting or part modification.
Open stair case with center uncut stringer
An open staircase is provided comprising a flight of stair treads and an uncut stringer. The treads have free opposing ends positioned on the stringer in a stepped apart relationship relative to one another and each are fixed to the uncut stringer at a position along the horizontal length of the tread such that the tread is cantilevered from the stringer.

Modular Stairs
A modular adjustable stairway that is comprised of two or more stair segments and that may be configured to have various slopes depending on the desired location of installation.
