TELESCOPIC HAND RAIL
A telescopic handrail that includes first and second telescoping members adapted to move from a first contracted position to a second expanded position. The telescoping members each having a free end and an opposing telescoping end. The handrail includes locking arrangement to releasably secure the telescoping members in the first contracted position. The handrail includes restraining arrangement to prevent the telescoping members from separating more than the second expanded position. The handrail includes a first fixing device to secure a free end of the first telescoping member to a fixed point. The handrail includes a second releasable fixing device to releasably secure a free end of the second telescoping member to a fixed point.
GLASS FENCING SYSTEM
A glass fencing system includes glass panels, rails, gaskets, and spigots. The rails extend across the upper edges of the glass panels. The gaskets are fitted within the rails. The spigots support one of the glass panels and comprise a base, a first arm, a first pad, a second arm, and a second pad. The first pad has a first pad surface and a lower surface. The first pad surface is in contact with the first arm and the glass panel. The lower surface extends from the first pad surface and is in contact with the glass panels. The second arm has bores. The second pad has a second pad surface, a backing, a plate, and fasteners. The second pad surface is in contact with the glass panel. The backing is spaced apart from the second pad surface and has backing openings aligned with the bores. The plate is located between the second pad surface and the backing. The fasteners pass through the bores and the backing openings to contact the plate.
Handrail and railing assembly
Disclosed is a handrail and railing assembly, which is made up of a handrail, a plurality of support frames, a movable corner, connecting sleeves and a corner connecting rod; wherein the handrail is connected by a plurality of handrail units and connecting sleeves, and connected by a movable corner or corner connecting rod at a corner; the spaced support frames are provided to hold the handrail. The handrail and railing assembly meets the strength requirements of different sites and can be adjusted according to the on-site installers.
Elongated support board
An elongated support board is for a walkway. The elongated support board includes a handrail and a knee rail or the like. The elongated support board is provided with a lighting-fixture rail for the attachment of a lighting fixture.
MODULAR RAIL SYSTEM
A modular rail system is disclosed where the component modules can be easily assembled in different combinations and configurations to produce customized rails having the desired appearance and functionality. In some embodiments the rail system comprises at least one connector having a longitudinal axis and comprising a connector span and at least one expansion member, wherein the expansion member is adjustable between a first configuration having a first diameter and a second configuration having a second diameter larger than said first diameter; and at least one span member having an outer surface and an inner surface and at least one open end, wherein the expansion member is insertable into an interior of the span member in the first configuration and is adjustable to the second configuration within the span member to securely engage the inner surface of the span member to releasably couple the connector and the span member together. The rail system may also include an actuator for adjusting the expansion member between the first and second configurations within the span member. In some embodiments the rail system comprises at least one span member and/or at least one connector that is illuminated to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the assembled rail and/or to direct light as desired at the site of installation. In a particular aspect the system may comprise a plurality of span members and at least one of the span members is a light emitting span member configured for receiving a lighting element. The lighting element may be connectable through a connector and/or a span member to an electrical supply externally of the rail system.
Fabrication layout device and method
Techniques and devices are disclosed for fabrication layout device. The device includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of railing pieces for fabrication of a railing assembly. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. Attached to the beam is an ink dispenser. The ink dispenser is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The ink dispenser is further configured to dispense ink onto the work surface of the table in the form of a pattern of the railing assembly. Railing pieces are positioned on the pattern so that they can be assembled to one another.
Decorative railing with adjustable attaching block
The railing extends between and is secured to posts or other substantially vertical surfaces so as to function as a hand rail. It includes an elongated extruded structural core member which has a left vertical wall and a right vertical wall spaced therefrom. A horizontal wall extends between the vertical walls forming a substantially H-shaped cross-section with an open top and an open bottom. A block is secured to an end of the structural member and is adapted to attach the member to a vertical surface. The block has the ability to be secured to the structural member in a plurality of different orientations to thereby allow the structural member to be attached to the vertical surface in a plurality of different angles relative thereto. Top and bottom finishing caps close the top and bottom of the structural member. Each of the right and left walls includes opposing slots for holding elongated decorative sheet material so that the appearance of the railing can be changed.
HANDRAIL SYSTEM FOR RAMP ASSEMBLY AND HANDRAIL ADAPTOR HAVING ANGLED INTERFACE
In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a handrail system for a ramp assembly, the handrail system includes first and second handrail posts oriented substantially perpendicular to a ground surface, a handrail portion having first and second ends extending between the first and second handrail posts, wherein the handrail portion is substantially parallel to a ramping surface ramping from a first elevation to a second elevation at a grade, and first and second interfaces at the first and second ends of the handrail portion for interfacing with the first and second handrail posts. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, an adaptor is configured for a handrail portion.
