A panel mounting system for mounting a linear panel structure on a surface, having a plurality of posts, each having a base plate with mounting surfaces for surface attachment and a vertical extension having a lateral support beam perpendicular to a panel-receiving cross beam; first and second opposing semi-circular channels within first and second ends of the panel-receiving cross beam, wherein each channel forms a channel angle of 45 to 135 degrees relative to the lateral support beam; a hollow, circular cylindrical insert insertable into each channel; and a panel mountable between each pair of adjacent posts, each end of the panel insertable into a corresponding insert.

A plate stabilizing device is configured to couple with an external U-shaped plate profile. The device includes an external segment, corresponding in shape to the external U-shaped plate profile and configured to fit therein. The external segment includes a socket adapted to at least partially accommodate an external alignment tool through a passage serving as a turning point for the external alignment tool, and an internal segment that is configured to accommodate a bottom portion of the plate. The internal segment comprising an alignment tool wedge-like portion capable of accommodating a tip of the alignment tool.

Disclosed is an apparatus for the connection of one or more panels to a building element, the apparatus including: a support profile, provided with an anchor base fixed to an installation surface of the building element, a first and a second wing and a cavity, which acts as a seat for at least a portion or edge of the panel; a system designed to adjust the laying set-up of the panel with respect to the support profile, so as to adjust the inclination of the panel with respect to the building element or to panels adjacent thereto. The laying set-up adjustment system of the panel provides an adjustment assembly, capable of providing the edge of the panel with a controllable rotation around a fulcrum and of adjusting the inclination of said panel.

A post sleeve including a first mounting plate including a first mounting hole. The post sleeve also can include a second mounting plate including a second mounting hole, The post sleeve additionally can include a channel portion extending between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. The channel portion can include a channel configured to secure a post within the channel. The first and second mounting plates can be configured to be attached to an anchor channel of an edge angle. Screwing into wood with any sized screw can result in the wood becoming split. The wood can be pre-drilled to reduce the risk of splitting; however, if the pre-drilled hole is too small the wood is still relatively likely to split, whereas if the hole is too big the retaining force of the screw may be reduced significantly. The present invention provides an attachment apparatus for enabling a bolt to be secured to substrate that is susceptible to fracturing, the apparatus comprising: a plate 41 with a plurality of openings 42 therethrough, wherein each opening 42 is configured to receive a fixing member, and wherein the plate 41 includes a plate orifice 43 therethrough; and a receiving member 44 fixedly secured to the plate 41, the receiving member 44 having a cavity with an aperture 45 at one end that at least partially overlaps the plate orifice 43, wherein the receiving member 44 is configured to receive and retain a corresponding bolt such that the corresponding bolt is also disposed within the aperture 45, cavity and the plate orifice 43. In this way, the risk of fracturing a substrate susceptible to fracturing is reduced when securing a bolt thereto.

An adjustable glass windscreen system including an elongate shoe secured atop a supporting surface with inner and outer vertical shoe walls journaled into a baseplate to define a track. A glass adjustment block is seated within the track of the shoe, likewise a three-walled open-top framing member defining a track. A glass panel is seated in the glass adjustment block. The width of the adjustment block is less than the track of the shoe to allow lateral adjustment. Buffer pads line the inside top edges of the opposing inner and outer shoe walls. Adjustment bolts are threaded through the inner and outer shoe walls and penetrate the bottom base of the glass adjustment block for back-and-forth adjustment thereof, and hence the glass panel seated therein. This cantilevers the glass panel about the buffer pads and amplifies the adjustment upward to the upper edge of the glass panel.

An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a raised, generally flat roof-like structure, has an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface, and an internally threaded blindbore extending at least partially from the top surface generally towards the bottom surface and fasteners for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via its blindbore, and for fastening the anchor baseplate to a top surface of a roof-like structure. The assembly is especially intended for supporting, e.g., glass railings on balconies, terraces and flat roofs and for mounted solar panels on both flat and pitched roofs which provides strength and affords watertight performance.

An improved picket railing anchor system for multiple picket railings for buildings, balconies, and decks, which can experience different forces being applied by people, objects or hurricane strength winds. The system includes an elongated base member having integral keyways which receive anchor assemblies having mounting plates, elevated rails and a central mounting post that also can elevate the base member to allow for drainage. The anchor assemblies are slidable and can be selectively positioned for easy and secure installation.

A mounting device for a deck post in the shape of a square tubular member polygonal planar side elements and one or more an attachment members extending from the top of the tubular member and which form grooves that are sized and spaced to receive structural joists, and at least one sidewall having a top ledge for the support of decking, and at least one retaining tab extending perpendicular from the bottom edge of the tubular members to retain a post member inserted into the tubular member.
