A rail panel includes a top rail defining a plurality of fastener receiving holes and a plurality of top cable holes. The rail panel includes a bottom rail defining a plurality of bottom cable holes and a plurality of clip receiving holes. The rail panel includes a plurality of vertical cables extending from the top rail to the bottom rail. The rail panel includes a plurality of threaded swage fittings, each coupled to a respective top end of one of the plurality of vertical cables, and a plurality of clip receiving swage fittings, each coupled to a respective bottom end of one of the plurality of vertical cables, and a plurality of clips, each received by a respective clip receiving swage fitting.

Latching railing arrangement

A latch assembly includes a latch body having a longitudinal wall portion extending from a front wall portion to a rear hinge portion, first and second latch members assembled with the longitudinal wall portion and laterally movable between an extended position and a retracted position, and a hinge bracket. The hinge bracket defines a mounting surface and is hingedly attached to the rear hinge portion of the latch body for angular adjustment of the latch body with respect to the mounting surface. When the latch body is oriented at a first angle, first and second mounting apertures in the front wall portion align with first and second mounting apertures in the hinge bracket, such that installation of mounting fasteners through the corresponding first and second mounting apertures of the front wall portion and the hinge bracket secures the latch body at the first angle.

Open-topped channels/troughs are often used as a footing in which glass panels may be placed and secured substantially vertically. A tapered wedge may be forced into the gap around the panel. As gradually wider portions of the wedge are forced into the gap, the panel is gripped ever tighter. However, it is often difficult to remove panels secured in this manner. The present invention provides a wedge support which can be separated into two portions by the insertion of a tool into a tool socket. In this way, if a wedge is used with the wedge support, the wedge support may be removed with the tool thereby permitting easy removal of the wedge.

VERTICAL CABLE BARRIER HAVING RAILS WITH INTERNAL CABLE FITTING ENGAGEMENT FEATURES

A rail panel includes a first rail and a second rail. The first rail includes a first pair of side walls, a first perimeter wall disposed orthogonally to the first pair of side walls, and a pair of internal walls extending from the first perimeter wall and disposed parallel to the first pair of side walls. The first perimeter wall defines a plurality of first cable holes spaced apart along the length of the first perimeter wall. The second rail includes a second pair of side walls, and a second perimeter wall disposed orthogonally to the second pair of side walls, the second perimeter wall defining a plurality of second cable holes disposed spaced apart along the length of the second perimeter wall. A plurality of vertical cables extend from the first rail to the second rail, where a first end of each of the plurality of vertical cables extends through a respective first cable hole and a second end of each of the plurality of vertical cables extends through a respective second cable hole. A plurality of threaded swage fittings are each coupled to a respective first end of one of the plurality of vertical cables, where each threaded swage fitting is received between the pair of internal walls of the first rail such that the pair of internal walls inhibit rotation of the threaded swage fitting.
