Folding guardrail
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable guardrails. An example system includes a frame weldment and a rail assembly attached to the frame weldment. The rail assembly includes a first post and a second post. The base portion of the first post is rotatably coupled to a first pivot point of the frame weldment and the base portion of the second post is rotatably coupled to a second pivot point of the frame weldment. The system also includes a top rail rotatably coupled between a top portion of the first post and a top portion of the second post. The system yet further includes an actuator configured to controllably adjust a configuration of the rail assembly between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration with respect to the frame weldment.
DECK RAIL SHELF
An adjustable deck shelf assembly has repositionable components to enable the assembly to be secured to variably dimensioned and assembled deck railings. A shelf is secured to a hinged shelf support board with tight dimensional tolerances or with a removable locking shaft in a mechanical interference fit to permit removal and storage of the shelf and assembly. Hinged truss shelf supports secured to support legs can be deployed to support the shelf and retracted for storage. An adjustable deck shelf/seat assembly incorporates variable-height outriggers attached to truss shelf supports and a variable-height shelf support board to enable the assembly to be arranged as a shelf or as a seat. The shelf alternatively may be secured to the deck shelf assembly with slots and hooks.
Self-Supporting Hand Guardrail
The present disclosure relates to various apparatuses and folding apparatuses configured to support weight of a user. An example apparatus includes a base frame and a base plate coupled to the base frame. The base plate is configured to support the weight of the user. The apparatus also includes a plurality of posts coupled to the base frame. Each post includes a lower portion, a middle portion, and an upper portion. The plurality of posts includes at least a first post and a second post. The apparatus also includes a plurality of support gussets. Each support gusset is coupled to the base frame and a respective upper portion of at least one post. The apparatus additionally includes a rail coupled between respective upper portions of at least the first post and the second post. The apparatus resists tipping based in part on the weight of the user.
ELBOW JOINT CONNECTOR
An elbow joint connector includes an elbow portion and a locking mechanism detachably coupled to a distal end of the elbow portion. The locking mechanism including a pair of locking members translatable relative to one another along an interface transverse to a longitudinal axis of the elbow joint connector. Divergent translation of the pair of locking members relative to one another along the interface increases a portion of an outer periphery of the locking mechanism to lock the elbow portion to an adjoining member. The elbow joint connector is configured for detachable coupling to an adjoining elbow joint connector and pivotally rotatable relative thereto from a first configuration in which respective center axes of the connectors form an acute angle to a second configuration in which the respective center axes are collinear.
QUICK DEPLOY VERTICAL CABLE RAILING
A vertical cable railing having a configuration that allows for a more efficient installation. The vertical cable railing includes a top rail and a bottom rail pre-threaded with the cable forming the vertical cable segments of the railing. At installation, a tensioning member or bracket is adjusted to influence a distance between the top rail and the bottom rail, which translates into a tensioning of the individual cable segments.
Vertically raising safety rail with dual curtain assembly
A vertical raising safety rail. The safety rail includes lower linkage arm assemblies that are connected to a base and to a center rail assembly and configured to raise or lower the center rail assembly relative to the base when a rotational force is applied to the drive shaft. The safety rail also includes upper linkage arm assemblies that are connected to the center rail assembly and to a top rail. The upper linkage arm assemblies are connected to corresponding lower linkage assemblies and are configured to move the top rail relative to the center rail assembly. When the top rail is raised, one or more safety curtains are unfurled from a take-up roller inside the top rail to provide a safety curtain in the vertical plane of the safety rail.
Slide-Glide Privacy Blind Barrier System
A deck system includes a baluster actuator device that moves balusters from an open position to a closed position. The movable balusters are positioned in the open position to at least partially open the baluster gaps between the stationary balusters, and the movable balusters are positioned in the closed position to close the baluster gaps between the stationary balusters. The balusters further include one or more functional modules secured to module inserts defined in the balusters.
Deck curtain system and method of use
A deck curtain and mounting system using vertical posts attachable to a deck rail or decking to form a structure supporting curtains hung from cross members positioned between the vertical posts to surround or encompass a deck area. The method of shading or securing the privacy of a deck area includes attaching vertical posts to a rail cap of a deck structure surrounding a deck area and attaching rotatable horizontal connectors to the vertical posts so that cross members may be connected between the vertical posts for hanging privacy curtains from the cross members around the deck structure.
Rotating Mount Folding Guardrail
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable guardrails. An example system includes at least one rotating mount having a lower weldment rotatably coupled to an upper weldment. The lower weldment is coupled to a walking surface. The system also includes a guardrail weldment coupled to the upper weldment of the at least one rotating mount. The system additionally includes an actuator configured to controllably adjust a configuration of the guardrail weldment between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration with respect to the walking surface. In some embodiments, the system could include a remote unit configured to control a position of the actuator. For example, the remote unit could include a wired remote controller having a user interface and at least one button.
