NON-SWELLING REINFORCED DRYWALL JOINT TAPE
A non-swelling joint tape for use with drywall applications includes a tapered trim strip body extending along a central body axis and a non-swelling backing paper. The tapered trim strip body includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first side, and a second side opposite the first side, and is at least partially constructed from a first dimensionally stable material. The non-swelling backing paper is at least partially secured to the second surface of the tapered trim strip body and is at least partially constructed from a second dimensionally stable material. The tapered trim strip body is dimensioned such that a first thickness between the first surface and the second surface at the central body axis is greater than a second thickness between the first surface and the second surface at the first side and the second side.
Wallboards, wallboard systems and methods for installing them
The present disclosure relates generally to wallboards, for example, suitable for use in constructing internal walls. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a wallboard and a method that provides simplified high-quality surface finishing. The wallboard includes a wall panel having a front surface and a rear surface. A sandable coating is disposed on the front surface of the wall panel. The method includes positioning wallboards adjacent to one another, applying sandable joint compound over joint formed between the wallboards, and sanding the joint compound and the sandable coating of the wallboards.
Enhanced Spackle Application Device
An enhanced spackle application device for facilitating an application of spackle to drywall includes a taping member having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a perimeter edge. The bottom surface is semi-adhesive and removably fastens upon a joint of a drywall. The joint is between adjacently positioned and abutting drywall panels. The perimeter edge is crenulated and facilitates blending spackle applied on the top surface of the taping member onto the drywall. The perimeter edge includes a pair of lateral edges, a first edge, and an end edge. A crease line is spaced between the lateral edges and is elongated from the first end to the end edge. The taping member is wound about a circular center member to define a roll of tape.

Work method for finishing inner wall surface of building
The present invention relates to a work method for finishing an inner wall surface of a building, the method comprising the steps of: a) attaching a finishing tape to at least one of a board joint, a wall surface joint, and a wall surface crack section; b) cutting the finishing tape after attaching same by a predetermined length; c) repeating steps a) and b) for a space to be finished; and d) applying a paint to or wallpapering a building inner wall surface including a surface onto which the finishing tape is attached.
DRYWALL JOINT TAPE AND METHOD
A joint tape for drywall includes a substrate layer having an elongate shape in a lengthwise direction and being flexible in the lengthwise direction and in a transverse direction. The tape further includes a covering layer disposed in bonding relation on the substrate layer. The covering layer is rigid in the transverse direction and configured to withstand compressive forces applied generally in the transverse direction and shear stresses applied generally along the transverse direction.
Patches, systems and tapes for preventing oversanding of surfaces
A drywall tape including a fiber matrix having a first side and an opposing second side; a sandable coating on at least a portion of the first side of the fiber matrix, wherein the sandable coating is a first color; and, an adhesive element on at least a portion of the second side of the fiber matrix. Additionally, a system for preventing oversanding of surfaces including a matrix having a first side and an opposing second side; and, at least one sandable coating on at least a portion of the first side of the flexible matrix, wherein the sandable coating is a different color than the color of joint compound when dried.
DRY WALL AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Drywall made with a pre-formed facer layer, pre-formed to have a well-defined depression along the side edge portion of the drywall. When the pre-formed paper is applied to the drywall core, the resulting sheet of drywall has a well-defined depressed edge portion for receiving mud and drywall tape. The facer layer is pre-formed by passing the semi-solid paper slurry beneath an embossing roller which includes a raised circumferential rib on each side of the roller, and preferably at least one raised crossbar. As the semi-solid paper slurry passes beneath embossing roller, a depressed side edge is formed along each side edge portion of the paper, and preferably a wider lateral depression is formed across the width of the paper every 8, 10 or 12 feet along the length of paper as it is pressed by roller.
PLASTER TAPING APPARATUS AND ATTACHMENTS
A plaster taping apparatus comprises a compartment for holding plaster taping mix and receiving a supply of tape and a removable attachment attachable to the plaster taping apparatus for applying the tape comprising the plaster taping mix exiting the compartment to a surface. The removable attachment comprises a body having a mounting member attachable to a clip arrangement on an outer wall of the compartment. The body comprises a first wheel arrangement at or towards a first end of the body for applying the tape to flat joints and a second wheel arrangement at or towards a second end of the body for applying the tape to internal joints. The plaster taping apparatus comprises an adjustment lever or dial accessible when the removable attachment is attached to the plaster taping apparatus for adjusting a thickness of the plaster taping mix coating the tape.
Flexible Patch Drywall Repair Tape
The present invention comprises at least one strip of drywall repair tape placed below at least one wider strip of a woven fabric mesh. The present invention provides a two-layered patching tape for repairing cracks and holes in drywall. It comprises a first layer of a woven fabric mesh and a second layer of paper drywall repair tape. This appeals to drywall contractors, remodeling contractors, homeowners, and anyone else needing to repair reoccurring cracks in drywall. This further replaces the use of conventional repair methods that do not prevent the crack from coming back. The present invention saves the individuals time and energy typically wasted on repeating the repair process.
