Self-aligning corner bead for fireproofing structural steel member and method of using same
A self-aligning corner bead for fireproofing structural steel, having a strip of welded wire fabric cut to the appropriate width for the fireproofing thickness and bent longitudinally to form an obtuse V-shaped device is disclosed. A plastic nosing is installed along one edge. A method of finishing the corners for fireproofing of structural steel member using an improved corner bead includes the step of attaching the first wing of an obtuse V-shaped device through a lathe to the structural steel member utilizing pneumatic or screw type fasteners. The mesh structure of the second wing of the V-shaped device provides a dam to form a roughened surface on the first application of fireproofing material until it hardens.

Outer insulation integrated insulating block system easy to dry-finish and a construction method thereby
The present invention relates to a method for replacing a conventional mold construction, and includes a plate-shaped outer insulating material, an inner plywood (or a board-shaped finishing material), a connection unit, and a lightweight temporary material. According to the present invention, a wall is constructed by connecting the inner plywood to the lightweight temporary material from a corner foundation surface and by laying bricks. Reinforcement bars are placed after an interior wall is constructed and arranged to cross each other or to align with each other as instructed in a design specification. Then, an exterior wall is installed corresponding to the connection unit connected to the inner plywood. As a result, a wall having a thermal bridge prevention effect and a higher quality is obtained. Either dry finish or a wet finish is applicable to the wall.
Lath and Drainage
An improved lath is disclosed having a water drainage layer provided in association with the lath. The water drainage layer serves to remove water that might otherwise build up between the lath and wall structure.
Structural support system for rockwork with mechanical fastening of adjacent chip assemblies
Rebar-based support assemblies that can be fabricated without the need for on-site welding. The assemblies include a number of differing sized and shaped crimps used in place of welds to provide rebar assembly-to-rebar assembly connections. Each crimp mechanically couples two or three pieces of rebar together, such as a border bar of one rebar assembly to a border bar of an adjacent rebar assembly. Each crimp includes a body with two or more arcuate recessed surfaces each for receiving a piece of rebar. In a first configuration of the crimp, a pair of spaced-apart arms (or extending members) extend from the body and define an opening through which the rebar is passed and set into the recessed surfaces. A deformation force is applied upon the two arms to deform the body into a second configuration with the arms in abutting contact or nearly so at an outer tip or end.
COMPOSITE HEAT INSULATION SYSTEM
The invention relates to a composite heat insulation system, comprising an insulating layer, optionally a reinforcing layer, which is applied to the insulating layer, and a cover layer, which is applied to the insulating layer or, if present, to the reinforcing layer, characterized in that the cover layer contains composite particles, wherein the composite particles contain at least one organic polymer and at least one inorganic solid, wherein the weight percentage of inorganic solid is 15 to 40 wt %, with respect to the total weight of organic polymer and inorganic solid in the composite particle.
Method for forming three-dimensional decoration on wall surface, and three- dimensional decoration formed using the method
There is provided a method for forming a three-dimensional decoration on a wall surface, wherein the method comprises: drawing a sketch on the work wall-surface; installing a crack-prevention member on the work wall-surface to suppress a separation between the three-dimensional decoration and the wall surface, wherein the crack-prevention member is disposed in a first region corresponding to the sketch; plastering a cement-mortar in the first region on the work wall-surface so as to embed the crack-prevention member in the cement-mortar, thereby to form a cement-mortar relief; three-dimensionally engraving a front face portion of the cement-mortar relief to form a cement-mortar relief-type decoration as the three-dimensional decoration; and coloring the cement-mortar relief-type decoration using a mixture of silicon as a binder and coloring pigments.
Lath and drainage
An improved lath is disclosed having a water drainage layer provided in association with the lath. The water drainage layer serves to remove water that might otherwise build up between the lath and wall structure.
Flexible Patch Drywall Repair Tape
The present invention comprises at least one strip of drywall repair tape placed below at least one wider strip of a woven fabric mesh. The present invention provides a two-layered patching tape for repairing cracks and holes in drywall. It comprises a first layer of a woven fabric mesh and a second layer of paper drywall repair tape. This appeals to drywall contractors, remodeling contractors, homeowners, and anyone else needing to repair reoccurring cracks in drywall. This further replaces the use of conventional repair methods that do not prevent the crack from coming back. The present invention saves the individuals time and energy typically wasted on repeating the repair process.
Self-aligning, double wire corner bead for fireproofing structural steel member and method of using same
A self-aligning, double wire corner bead for fireproofing structural steel along a plurality of surfaces, the corner bead having a single strip of welded wire fabric cut to a predetermined width for the fireproofing thickness and bent along a plurality of longitudinally extending lines, to provide a profile having a plurality of dihedral angles is disclosed. A nose is installed along two edges. A method of finishing the corners for fireproofing of structural steel member using an improved corner bead includes the step of attaching the corner bead through a lath to the structural steel member utilizing fasteners. The mesh of the corner bead provides a dam to form a roughened surface on the first application of fireproofing material until it hardens.
