Impervious wall panel
A water impervious wall panel system includes an intermediate first wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the intermediate first wall panel is provided with tongue-and-groove edges. The water impervious wall panel system also includes an end second wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the end second wall panel is provided with a tongue-and-groove edge and a rolled edge. One of the tongue-and-groove edges of the intermediate first wall panel and the tongue-and-groove edge of the end second wall panel form an interlocking system having a contact area adjacent to a front face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel and a gap adjacent a rear face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel, the contact area surface extending across less than the thickness of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel so as to provide a tight joint at the front face and eliminate visible gaps.
Cork-based tile for privacy apparatuses and method of making and using the same
A privacy apparatus includes one or more substantially cork panels. Each panel can be configured to provide visual and/or sound privacy for a certain work space. The panel can be supported on a floor via one or more base elements and/or may be reinforced in rigidity and/or strength via one or more supports. Some embodiments of the apparatus can include a first panel and a second panel attached together via one or more supports press fit within openings defined in rear faces of the panels.
Methods and apparatus for creating girih strapwork patterns
A kit that includes multiple rectilinear elongate polygonal elements having five unique shapes, four of which are concave polygonal elements. In some examples, when arranged with respect to one another, the elements of the kit form a girih strapwork pattern. In one aspect, respective elements in a kit may include bezels or boarders along longer sides to enhance an over/under weaving effect of the girih strapwork pattern. In other aspects, one or more elements may be formed as a tray, and some of the trays may include various components or materials disposed in the tray (e.g., architectural surface materials, biological systems, various electronic components) to provide for a variety of creative designs and structural/sculptural installations for built environments. In some implementations, one or more such trays may have beveled rims so as to appear light and thin when viewed.
Face mounting system
A face mounting system for mounting a plurality of panels to a surface of a wall is disclosed. The plurality of panels are attached to the surface of the wall by way of rails having hooks that engage a protrusion of the clips. The rails and the clips may be attached to the wall and the panels respectively or vice versa. Each of the panels may be attached and removed to the wall one at a time and in any order.
WALL COVERING PANELS AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION THEREOF
An elongated panel for producing a wall covering, a kit for producing a wall covering, and a method of installing a wall covering are described. The elongated panel includes generally rectangular front surface and back surfaces, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge opposite the first longitudinal edge. A lateral cross-section of the first longitudinal edge can include a generally horizontal support portion proximate the back surface and a first beveled portion proximate the front surface, and a lateral cross-section of the second longitudinal edge can include a generally horizontal resting portion proximate the back surface and a second beveled portion proximate the front surface.
Precise faux wood reproduction system and method
A system and method for fabricating and installing structure siding with the appearance of logs fashioned from at least one mold configured from digital scans of existing logs of an antiquated log cabin is described. The process facilitates the reuse of scans amounting to digital files representing an existing log cabin structure. Via the system, staff members may craft a recreation of the faade of an existing log cabin numerous times on modern homes without the removal of the original logs, taking out all unwanted imperfections of the existing log cabin structure. A high-definition metrology grade scanner is preferably employed to capture the appearance of the existing log cabin in great detail such that molds may be formed to facilitate its reproduction. Composite faades may be created based on scans of logs derived from a variety of existing log cabins to create a new design.
DECORATIVE BOARD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A decorative board in the present disclosure includes a primer layer, a concealing layer, a colorant layer and a topcoat layer containing ultraviolet-curable resin on a base material in this order. A method for manufacturing the decorative board in the present disclosure includes a stretching process, an irradiation process, and a separation process. The stretching process includes forming the primer layer, the concealing layer, and the colorant layer on the base material in this order; applying a ultraviolet-curable coating material containing ultraviolet-curable resin; placing a plastic film on the applied ultraviolet-curable coating material, placing a roller on the plastic film, and stretching the ultraviolet-curable coating material by rolling the roller. The irradiation process includes forming the topcoat layer by hardening the ultraviolet-curable coating material by ultraviolet ray irradiation. The separation process includes separating the plastic film after the irradiation.
DECORATIVE PANEL COMPRISING GROUT IMITATION
A panel including a substrate and a top layer. The top layer has a decor layer and a wear layer. The panel is provided with a first pair of opposite edges; and optionally with a second pair of opposite edges. At least one edge of the first pair of opposite edges is provided with a grout imitation.
Decorative material, laminate, and method for manufacturing decorative material
A decorative material having a design with an excellent tactile and a visual effect. The decorative material has a texture region on a base material, the texture region is composed of: a plurality of projection regions containing a plurality of particles with a particle size of 5 ?m or more and 60 ?m or less and independent of each other; and a gap region between the projection regions, and the average diameter of the circumscribed circles of the projection regions, when the texture region is viewed in plan view, is 100 ?m or more and 500 ?m or less.
Decorative Panel, in Particular a Wall, Ceiling or Floor Panel, and a Covering Constructed by a Multitude of Such Panels
Panel, in particular a wall, ceiling or floor panel, of a planar design having a top side, a bottom side and side edges, which panel is constructed from a laminate structure of layers that are adhered to each other, wherein the layers include a core layer, a decorative layer which includes a decorative image on its upper side, which decorative layer is provided directly or indirectly on an upper side of the core layer, and -a top coat layer that is transparent and includes a layer of transparent matrix material, which top coat layer is provided directly or indirectly on an upper side of the decorative layer.
