FACE MOUNTING SYSTEM
A face mounting system for mounting a plurality of panels to a surface of a wall is disclosed. The plurality of panels are attached to the surface of the wall by way of rails having hooks that engage a protrusion of the clips. The rails and the clips may be attached to the wall and the panels respectively or vice versa. Each of the panels may be attached and removed to the wall one at a time and in any order.
WATERPROOF PANEL, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A PANEL, AND PANEL OBTAINABLE BY SAID PROCESS
The invention relates to a panel suitable for constructing a waterproof floor or wall covering, wherein the panel has a substantially planar top surface, a substantially planar bottom surface, and at least four substantially linear side edges. The invention also relates to a process for producing a panel according to the invention. The invention further relates to a panel obtainable by said process according to the invention.
FUNCTIONAL IMAGE TILE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a functional image tile and a manufacturing method therefor, the tile: being manufactured by printing a desired image on a surface of a tile manufactured through a mixture produced by mixing red clay, basalt fiber and mulberry fiber with a raw material formed by mixing plaster and water; being capable of smoothly absorbing ink during image printing since the red clay and the plaster having excellent absorbency are mixed; enabling the image printed on the surface thereof to be prevented from peeling off or spreading by moisture; and exhibiting excellent heat resistance, strength, and moisture-adjusting capability since the basalt fiber and the mulberry fiber are mixed together.
Decorative panel
A decorative panel has a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The first layer may be transparent, the second layer is fully or partially reflective, and the third layer is partially reflective or transparent. A cavity having an opening in the shape of a design is formed within a portion of the second layer. The opening is configured to allow light to enter the decorative panel through the second layer. The light entering the decorative panel will be outputted by the third layer in a shape substantially similar to the design.
Expanding panel and method of manufacture
An expandable panel, constructed such that the expandable panel can at least expand in at least one direction, includes a panel having a front face and rear face bordered by side edges, end edges and a thickness dimension extending between the front and rear faces and includes discretely spaced cuts extending from the front face to the rear face or rear to front face. The cuts form bridging members between living hinges and are elongate and extend in a spaced longitudinal manner including at least one cut forming a side of the expandable panel located on one side of the cut, and at least two cuts located on a side of the expandable panel. The at least one cut on side and the other cuts on side together forming at least one pair of lines being substantially parallel, offset mirror images of each other and being intermeshed but not touching.
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PANELS HAVING A DECORATIVE SURFACE
A method is provided for manufacturing panels having a decorative surface, wherein the panels at least include a substrate and a top layer, and wherein the top layer includes a paper layer having a printed pattern. The method may involve providing the paper layer with an inkjet receiver coating by transporting the paper layer relative to a coater in a coating direction. The coated paper layer may be provided with at least a portion of the printed pattern using a digital inkjet printer that includes a housing containing print heads. The printed pattern may be a wood motif having wood nerves extending generally in a nerve direction that substantially corresponds to the coating direction. Providing the printed pattern may involve a relative motion between the digital inkjet printer and the paper layer during a printing operation in a printing direction. The paper layer may be maintained flat inside the housing, or the minimum radius over which the paper layer is bent inside the housing may be larger than 25 centimeters.
Applications of electro-optic displays
Electro-optic, especially electrophoretic, displays are used in variety of architectural and furniture applications, including a tile (100) comprising an electro-optic layer (110) capable of changing the color of the file, front and multiple rear electrodes and a light-transmissive polymeric layer (102), the exposed surface of which is textured to provide a plurality of facets inclined to the plane of the tile (100), the rear electrodes being aligned with the facets. A variable color writable board is also provided.
Decorative sheet and decorative plate
A pattern layer formed on a sheet base material, a first surface protective layer formed on the pattern layer, and a second surface protective layer partially formed on the first surface protective layer. The first surface protective layer and the second surface protective layer each have a gloss different to each other. The sheet base material is a thin paper that has a T-type peeling strength of 130 gf/15 mm or more and 210 gf/15 mm or less and an air permeability in accordance with JIS P 8117 of 150 seconds or more.
Methods for manufacturing panels having a decorative surface
Method for manufacturing panels having a decorative surface, wherein the panels at least comprise a substrate and a top layer, wherein the top layer comprises a paper layer having a printed pattern, and wherein the method at least comprises the step of providing the paper layer with thermosetting resin by transporting the paper layer through a resin application device in a resin application direction, and the step of providing the paper layer with at least a portion of the printed pattern by means of a digital inkjet printer, wherein the printed pattern comprises a wood motif having wood nerves extending generally in a nerve direction substantially corresponding to the resin application direction.
