Methods and systems for constructing or retrofitting electromagnetically shielded facilities
Electromagnetically shielding an enclosable structure having a floor, walls, a ceiling, and at least one closeable opening by applying a shielding wallcovering to at least a portion of one of the walls and applying a second type of shielding material to at least a portion of the enclosable structure, wherein the second type of shielding material differs from the shielding wallcovering. The shielding wall covering is wallpaper comprising a metal-coated broad good and a resin. Other types of shielding material may include a transparent, shielding window covering such as NiCVD coated screen of woven silk fibers; shielded flooring such as a layered combinations of Kevlar non-woven as a base layer, nickel-coated non-woven layers, and a PCF toughened polymer; and a transition shielding strip made of a base layer of the shielding wallpaper with a PCF toughened polymer coating over a portion of the strip.
WALL CLADDING PLANKS, CLIPS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND USE
A panel system provides a prefabricated exterior building façade. Various wall claddings and clips for hanging wall claddings are discussed. A wall cladding system includes: a building wall; a plurality of wall cladding planks; a plurality of fasteners extending through respective apertures in the plurality of wall cladding planks to secure the plurality of wall cladding planks to the building wall, in which each fastener has a head and a shaft, and the shaft mounts a spacer behind a rear face of the respective wall cladding plank to define a drainage gap between the wall cladding planks and the building wall. A wall cladding plank clip includes a fastener with a head and a shaft; a drainage gap spacer mounted on the shaft; and a front washer plate mounted on the shaft between the head and the drainage gap spacer. A pre-fabricated wall cladding plank has: a core of insulating material; a fire-resistant component; an integral drainage system defined on a rear face of the pre-fabricated wall cladding plank; corresponding tongue and groove profiles on opposing edges of the pre-fabricated wall cladding plank to mate with adjacent pre-fabricated wall cladding planks of identical dimensions; and an external decorative finishing layer.
PANELS AND METHODS OF PREPARATION THEREOF
Composite panels and methods of use and manufacturing are described herein. The composite panels may comprise a foam composite and one or more layers of a facing material. The foam composite may have a density less than or equal to 20 pcf, and the layer(s) of facing material, e.g., inorganic facing material, may have a thickness of 1/16 inch to 1 inch covering at least the front surface of the foam composite.
INTERLOCKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TILE PANEL MOUNTING
Interlocking systems that mechanically secure tile panels to a supporting structure are enabled. For example, a panel mounting apparatus can comprise: a panel material comprising a first side and a second side, opposite the first side, a substrate material attached to the second side of the panel material, a fastening track attached to the second side of the panel material, adjacent to the substrate material, a mounting clip attached to the fastening track on a first side of the mounting clip, wherein the mounting clip comprises a projection from a second side of the mounting clip, opposite the first side, and a receiving body comprising locking channel that receives the projection, wherein an internal shape of the locking channel compliments an internal shape of the projection.
TILE SYSTEM FOR CEILING AND WALL
A tile comprises a main body having an exposed side and a concealed side. The exposed side defines a main surface and the concealed side defines a rear plane. Side surfaces between the exposed side and the concealed side of the main body have tongue-and-groove arrangements in the rear plane. The main body is made of at least one layer of acoustic felt defining at least one of the exposed side or the concealed side. The at least one layer of acoustic felt has a main plane of at least one compressed portion, with at least one embossed portion projecting from the main plane of the at least one compressed portion.
UNIVERSAL Z-Z CHANNEL FOR MOUNTING WALL PANELS TO EXISTING WALL
Disclosed is a system of cladding along an existing exterior wall of a building featuring a plurality of Z-shaped components deployed in a parallel spaced apart arrangement, with an insulation panel in between two of the Z-shaped components. The Z-shaped components having a J-wall to enforce a moisture gap between exterior wall paneling and insulation. The Z-shaped components may feature Edge-components when the line of insulation panels needs to be interrupted or when it reaches a corner or edge of a wall.

Exterior insulated finish wall assembly
Some embodiments include an exterior insulated finish wall assembly including an exterior panel member, an insert member, and a drainage channel. The exterior panel member includes a rigid insulative substrate and a base coat selectively disposed on the rigid insulative substrate. The rigid insulative substrate includes a body portion and a tail portion extending from the body portion. A recess is defined by a sloped surface and a back surface of the tail portion. The insert member is configured to be disposed within the recess. The insert member is sized and shaped to correspond to the recess. The insert member includes a rigid insulative substrate and a base coat selectively disposed on the rigid insulative substrate. The drainage channel is defined between the tail portion and the insert member.
Wall panel
A wall panel may have a rigid layer, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer may be chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the rigid layer. The rigid layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the rigid layer.
