DECORATIVE MASONRY SYSTEM
A decorative masonry system includes a first block having a first body portion and a first plurality of edges and a second block having a second body portion and a second plurality of edges. A first gutter is defined by a portion of the first plurality of edges, and a second gutter is defined by a portion of the second plurality of edges. The decorative masonry system further includes mastic configured to operably couple the first and second blocks to a substrate.
FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.
Prefabricated tile strip
A prefabricated tile strip includes a backing board, a tile region having plural tiles and grout. The grout can be composed of a resin/polymer-based grout that allows for superior water resistance, stain resistance, crack resistance and is transportable without breaking. The strip includes an edge region or flange on either side of the tiles to allow for simple screw in and glue on assembly, not even a wall is necessary, the strip can be attached directly to the studs. A step over/under water resistant edges can go directly onto a bathtub or shower ledge or onto the wet area of a tile floor (not separate ledge), allowing it to go straight down to the bottom of a shower floor, or It can step right over a thin plastic flange on a tub or shower base.
Plank for Wall or Surface Covering and Methods Thereof
A plank and plank system for covering a wall or other surface is provided. Each longitudinally extending plank comprises a generally planar front faade and a back member. The back member comprises multiple plateaus interspersed with channels. Each plateau provides a flat surface that will be adjacent to the wall/surface when the plank is installed and onto which, optionally, a strip of pressure sensitive adhesive tape may be applied. The channels or an allocation feature within the channels provide a predetermined location and predetermined holding capacity to regulate the location and amount of construction adhesive to be applied by a user. In an aspect of the invention, the channels also provide a degree of flexibility that allows the plank to adhere securely to the wall and that allows the depth of the plank to be greater than conventional wood wall covering panels.
VENEER UNDERLAYMENT
An underlayment for use between a veneer material and a foundation surface. The underlayment includes a base layer and a series of individual supports extending upwardly from the base layer and being configured to create voids in a layer of bonding material used to adhere the veneer material to the underlayment. Each of the individual supports includes at least one outer wall extending upwardly from the base layer, the outer wall extending at least partially around a perimeter of each of the supports. An internal wall is spaced from the outer wall and extends downwardly toward the base layer. A protrusion forms an overhang beneath which a heating element can be fitted. A liner material is bonded to an undersurface of the base layer and extends beneath the internal wall. A space is defined between the at least one outer wall, the internal wall and the liner material.
Method and apparatus for wall planks
A wall tile adapted to be molded from materials, including PVC composition material, and comprising: a planar top panel, which comprises an urethane stain shield, a second planar panel which comprises a first Polyvinyl chloride composition, a third planar panel which comprises a composite material having 3D printing on it, a Fourth planar panel which comprises a webbed fiberglass composition, a fifth planar panel which comprises a magnetic substrate, a sixth planar panel which comprises a second Polyvinyl chloride composition, and a seventh panel which comprises a self-adhesive composition.
METHOD FOR COVERING BUILDING WALLS AND STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING WALL COVERS
A method and a structure are described that allow covers to be simply and quickly applied to building walls and faades, regardless of whether the walls are inside or outside, flat or curved, ventilated or not. First, the method provides for making a bearing surface, parallel to the wall, by using flexible panels, then constraining the bearing surface to the wall by fastening elements whose orientation can be adjusted, next precisely adjusting the orientation of the bearing surface from the wall by acting selectively on the single fastening elements, and finally fastening the cover, for example marble slabs, to the bearing surface. The support structure includes the just described elements.
Tile Setting Structure and Method of Setting Tile
A tile setting structure comprises a floor panel and a plurality of wall panels each attached to either the floor panel or one of the other wall panels with a waterproof caulk. Each of the wall panels includes a first rigid layer, a second rigid layer attached to the first rigid layer by a thinset mortar, and a waterproofing layer formed of a flexible material and attached to the second rigid layer by the thinset mortar.
PRE-FINISHED INSULATED PANEL SYSTEM FOR CLADDING A BUILDING
A pre-finished insulated panel system for cladding an exterior wall of a building, the system comprising: rectangular panels each with an insulation core and weather resistant coating defining a central portion with a panel thickness between an inside mounting surface and an exposed outside surface, the plurality of panels adapted for engagement in a series of parallel rows; each panel having: a mounting flange disposed on the top edge and on a first lateral edge of each panel, the mounting flange including: a recessed mounting groove; an inner ridge; and an outer ridge; an elongate cover flange complementary with the mounting flange disposed on the bottom edge and on an opposing second lateral edge, the cover flange including: an inner groove complementary to the inner ridge; and an outer groove complementary to the outer ridge; and mechanical fasteners within the recessed mounting groove and anchoring to the wall.
