Laminate film, method for manufacturing same, and melamine decorative panel
Provided is a laminate film having excellent bonding properties, resistance to water whitening, and chemical resistance, and containing a fluororesin layer comprising a fluororesin composition, and an acrylic resin layer comprising a resin composition that contains a reactive group-containing acrylic resin, acrylic rubber particles, and a thermoplastic resin.
TILE PANEL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A method of constructing a tile assembly panel wherein the tile assembly panel is constructed at a location different than that of the installed location of the tile assembly panel. The tile assembly panel includes a plurality of tile members wherein the tile members can be any shape, size and type of tile. The tile members during construction of the tile assembly panel have epoxy grout applied to the lateral edges thereof wherein the lateral edges of the tile members are adjacent other lateral edges of adjacent tile members. The method of the present invention employs a horizontal work surface that is flat and rigid facilitating the ability to place the tile members in the correct location and pattern while securing each tile member to every adjacent tile member. Ensuing construction of the tile assembly panel the tile assembly panel is transported to the installation location for install thereof.
Method of waterproofing building roofs and building panels
A sealing method developed for a roofing system alternative to conventional asphalt shingles or metal roof coverings and for sealing walls and floors for tiled surfaces such as shower stalls and the like. The concepts described herein are readily applicable to waterproofing most kinds of walls, ceilings, roofs and floors, and any fixtures or other components that must pass through the wall, ceiling, roof or floor.
Bottle Cap Backsplash
A method for installing repurposed bottle caps in the form of a tile construction sheet to a prepared support surface such as a kitchen, wet bar, or bar, backsplash. In addition these sheets can be made to accommodate installation in various other applications including bartops and table tops. Each sheet will exhibit a number of evenly spaced bottle caps affixed to a mesh woven substrate layer that is made to accept these bottle caps in a perpetual stationary state and which allows for installation to a fixed surface in a timely manner using industry standard materials and practices.
Impervious wall panel
A wall panel (20, 30) suitable for bathrooms, wetrooms and the like is disclosed. The panel is water impervious and comprises a core of wood plastics composite (WPC) and a laminate adhesively attached to the core. In preferred embodiments, the core is a wood plastics composite foamed board. The wood plastics composite preferably comprises PVC and wood fiber. The wood plastics composite may include recycled materials. The wall panel may be provided with a tongue-and-groove interlocking system with tongue and groove edges (21, 31 and 32). The system is configured to provide a contact area across less than the thickness of the panel which achieves a tight join at the front face and eliminates a visible gap. It also increases tolerance for machining errors or variation. The tongue-and-groove interlocking system is designed to provide tolerance for walls which are not precisely planar but may be bowed or uneven to a certain extent.
Panel and method for fabricating, installing and utilizing a panel
The insulating barrier of a panel including has a first stratum and a second stratum, each having a plurality of ridges that face each other, and run athwart of each other. Clearance between at least some adjacent pairs of the ridges provide a mechanical chase that reaches across at least most of the panel. A cladding overlaying at least one side of the insulating barrier is denser than the barrier. The mechanical chase is in the form of a groove through which a utility feed can be routed when the panel is to be mounted in a building.
FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.
Self-Engaging Mounting Method for Wall Panels
A wall panel installation method, assembly, system and kit are provided. The wall panel is installed and held to an existing building structure with the combination of a support plate secured to the building wall, fastening elements adhered to the wall panel and corresponding fastening elements adhered to respective support plates. When the wall panel is in position, the fastening elements are brought into contact to engage each other and hold the wall panel in position relative to the building structure/wall.
FLOORING PANEL EQUIPPED WITH QUICK-RELEASE ADHESIVE SHEET
A flooring panel is provided with a quick-release adhesive sheet such that the flooring panel can be quickly attached to a support surface and removed therefrom. More particularly, the flooring panel includes a top floor layer attached or laminated to the adhesive sheet, which underlies the floor layer. The top flooring layer can be any type of flooring material, such as vinyl flooring, real or engineered wood flooring, etc.
METHOD FOR MOUNTING WALL PANELS & WALL PANEL SYSTEM
A method for mounting wall panels (1a,1b) to a wall (27). The method including providing first and having a thermoplastics substrate (3) and a protective film (7) applied over a major surface (11) of the substrate, said protective film (7) having a thickness of at least 140 m and including a textured surface (17) having a multiplicity of micro-peaks and/or micro-troughs randomly arranged, thereby providing a light diffusing and/or light scattering effect; mounting the first and second laminated wall panels (1a,1b) onto the wall (27); and inserting a gap filling sealant (21) into a gap between adjacent peripheral portions (29a,29b) of the first and second wall panels (1a,1b). A wall panel system is also disclosed.
