An adhesive floor/wallboard includes a floor/wallboard main body layer and a buffer layer adhered to the back surface of the floor/wallboard main body layer. The buffer layer is provided with a plurality of holes. The holes extend through the buffer layer to the main body layer. Glue is deposited in the holes. The buffer layer is adhered to the back surface of the floor/wallboard. The glue in the holes makes direct contact with the floor/wallboard main body at the holes. Due to the holes and their depth, the contact area between the glue, the buffer layer and the main body is increased. Accordingly, the adhesive floor/wallboard can be more firmly adhered to a backing surface.

Provided is a wall panel for forming a wall covering with multiple panels, including a centrally located core. The core includes a rear side, a decorative side opposite the rear side, and at least two sides including coupling parts for mutual coupling of several panels. The coupling parts are arranged to be coupled with an angling motion. A new panel is arranged to be angled into a panel already forming part of the wall covering. The coupling parts include at least one first coupling part and at least one second coupling part arranged on opposite sides of the core. The first coupling part includes a sideward tongue, an upper bridge portion for connecting the sideward tongue to the core and a downward groove for accommodating at least a parts of an upward locking element. The second coupling part includes a groove.

ARTICLE WITH A FILM ADHERED AND LAMINATE

An article with a film adhered includes a film layer, a glass particle-containing layer, and an adherend in this order to facilitate high flame retardance. A laminate used to produce such article.

Tile Leveling System

The present disclosure provides tools, systems, and methods for leveling and aligning tiles. A tile leveling tool for guiding installation of tiles on an uneven installation surface comprises: an elongated main body extending along a longitudinal axis thereof, from a first end to a second end, wherein the main body further comprises a flat reference side, wherein the reference side has a straight reference edge parallel to the longitudinal axis; and at least one adjustable spacer extending from the main body configured to extend toward the installation surface, wherein the adjustable spacer is configured to adjust a space between the main body and the installation surface to arrange the reference edge straight across the uneven installation surface and to guide the installation of the tiles evenly.

Fiber enforced thin brick sheet and process

A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member (20), a mesh layer (30) adhered to the core member, a basecoat layer (43) covering an entirety of the mesh layer, and a finish layer (46) covering an entirety of the basecoat layer. The core member, the mesh layer, the basecoat layer, and the finish layer together define a brick profile portion (11) having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, and an offset portion (12) extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, the brick profile portion and the offset portion together defining a planar rectangular base surface (16) extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion.

FAÇADE STRUCTURE

A method for manufacturing a facade structure includes fastening to a load-bearing underground of a facade a dimensionally stable insulating layer having a supporting outer surface. Spacers of the same height are fastened to the insulating layer such that the spacers protrude outward from the insulating layer. An elastic adhesive is applied at points and/or as rows onto the insulating layer and/or the tile elements in areas in which no spacers are disposed, the height of the applied adhesive being greater than the height of the spacers. The tile elements are adhered to the insulating layer by pressing the tile elements against the spacers, whereby hollow spaces remain between the tile elements and the insulating layer due to the point-like and/or rows of applied adhesive.
