Tile setting structure and method of setting tile
A method of setting tile includes constructing a floor panel and a plurality of wall panels and attaching each of the plurality of wall panels to either the floor panel or one of the other wall panels with a waterproof caulk. Each of the wall panels includes a first rigid layer, a second rigid layer attached to the first rigid layer by a thinset mortar, and a waterproofing layer formed of a flexible material and attached to the second rigid layer by the thinset mortar.
POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE (PET) PARTICULATE COMPOSITION FOR STRUCTURAL CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS
A construction article comprising recycled plastic (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) is provided. The plastic is preferably derived from post-consumer waste such as food or beverage containers. An adhesive network is created using an adhesive suitable for the chosen plastic(s), and pieces of the plastic are interspersed among that adhesive network in the final construction article. The construction articles are high strength, flame resistant, and water resistant and can be in the form of a sheathing panel, dimensional lumber, or other desired shape.
FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.

FLOORING PANEL EQUIPPED WITH QUICK-RELEASE ADHESIVE SHEET
A flooring panel (50) is provided with a quick-release adhesive sheet (10) such that the flooring panel (50) can be quickly attached to a support surface and removed therefrom. More particularly, the flooring panel (50) includes a top floor layer (52) attached or laminated to the adhesive sheet (10), which underlies the floor layer (52). The top flooring layer (52) can be any type of flooring material, such as vinyl flooring, real or engineered wood flooring, etc. (FIG. 8).
Prefabricated Tile Strip
A prefabricated tile strip includes a backing board, a tile region having plural tiles and grout. The grout can be composed of a resin/polymer-based grout that allows for superior water resistance, stain resistance, crack resistance and is transportable without breaking. The strip includes an edge region or flange on either side of the tiles to allow for simple screw in and glue on assembly, not even a wall is necessary, the strip can be attached directly to the studs. A step over/under water resistant edges can go directly onto a bathtub or shower ledge or onto the wet area of a tile floor (not separate ledge), allowing it to go straight down to the bottom of a shower floor, or It can step right over a thin plastic flange on a tub or shower base.
PANEL FOR STONES AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
Panels for coupling stone or brick units to a wall structure are disclosed herein. The panels can include an expanded polystyrene foam having a plurality of laterally extending channels formed on one or more of a first and second side of the panel. The channels can aid in adhering a plurality of stone or brick units to the panel. The width of the channels can be less than the width of the stone or brick units such that the stone or brick units are disposed outside the channels when coupled to the panel.
DEVICE FOR SURFACE COVERING
A device includes a substrate (20), a first adhesive (33), and a carrier layer (50). The substrate has a finish layer (40). The substrate has sufficient flexibility to allow manual rolling and to allow manual unrolling without damage. The substrate has a plurality of discontinuous segments (70A, 70B, 70C). The first adhesive is disposed on an opposing side of the finish layer. The first adhesive is configured for pressure sensitive bonding. The first adhesive has a release characteristic such that the substrate can be bonded and disbonded relative to a substantially planar surface and incur no damage. The carrier layer (50) is bonded to the finish layer by a second adhesive (55). The second adhesive is configured to retain the plurality of discontinuous segments infixed spatial alignment. The second adhesive is configured to cleanly disbond from the finish layer by manual peeling.
Non-Decorative Industrial Grade Self-Adhesive Tile and Method of Manufacturing Thereof
A non-decorative industrial grade self-adhesive tile comprised of an abrasion-resistant alumina ceramic tile, a silane coupling agent and double-sided (double-coated) acrylic foam super high bonding tape with release liner. The abrasion-resistant alumina ceramic tile may be comprised of aluminum oxide, crystalline silica (amorphous) and magnesium oxide. The silane coupling agent may be comprised of materials selected from the group of isopropyl alcohol, water and glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. The double-sided (double-coated) acrylic foam super high bonding tape is comprised a foam carrier and an acrylic adhesive.
