Non-sequentially installed dry joint wall panel system
A wall panel system for attachment to a building surface includes a plurality of generally vertical supports, and a plurality of generally horizontal mounting rails interconnected with the vertical supports to define a panel mounting gridwork. The horizontal mounting rails have an upper mounting feature and a lower mounting feature, on a side opposite from the building surface. A plurality of panels each have a rear surface, an upper extrusion mounted to a top of the rear surface, and a lower extrusion mounted to a bottom of the rear surface. The upper extrusion mates with a corresponding lower mounting feature on the gridwork, and the lower extrusion mates with a corresponding upper mounting feature on the gridwork. The plurality of panels have a gap about a periphery thereof relative to any adjacent panels, whereby the panels can be non-sequentially mounted to the gridwork.
Facing System
An insulated facing system, suitable for application to a wide variety of building façade substrates, in both new build and retro-fit situations. It is a simple to install and cost effective lightweight facing system, with rebate edged insulation attached to facing panels by back site anchors, and fixed to building facades by a clip and horizontal rail system.
The system provides excellent whole life costings and seamless architectural detailing.
REPRODUCIBLE BUILDING STRUCTURE WITH INTEGRATED SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM
Methods for constructing and a building kit for use thereof are disclosed. The building kit includes a plurality of posts configured for embedding within square apertures of a foundation, wherein the posts have a cross-shaped cross-sectional shape, a plurality of cross-shaped cross-sectional shaped elongated members, a plurality of roof panels, wherein the roof panels include solar cells, and a plurality of wall panels having conforming shape to the cross-shaped cross-sectional shaped elongated members.
Cladding panel
A cladding panel comprising a top multi-film layer and a base layer configured for connection to a substrate, the top multi-film layer including at least an external substantially transparent film and a granular film adjacent to the external substantially transparent film. Disclosed are also methods of producing the cladding panel and kits of cladding panels.
Channeled plank siding
A building siding panel is provided with an internal channel for weeping away water and the ability to hide the securing flange when the siding panel is installed on a building wall. The siding panel can be customized to have the look of a wooden panel, while retaining the benefits and durability of a non-wooden material, such as metal.
Device for fixing adjacent panels to a surface
A mounting apparatus for a plurality of panels to allow non-progressive fixing of the same to a façade. The apparatus employs a base having flanges, forming a channel, that are engaged by a plate held by a fastener positioned within the channel. When operated, the fastener is forced against extension elements that depend from adjacent panels.
Floor And Wall Panel System
A decorative wall system is provided that includes a number of panels that can be secured to an underlying wall and to one another in an overlapping configuration to provide a multi-layer, three-dimensional appearance to the wall. In one embodiment of the wall system, the system includes individual panels that include a decorative front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface includes undercuts along each side of the rear surface that can be positioned over the side edges of the front surface of an adjacent wall panel. The panels may each include an adhesive layer including compressible strings therein that assist the adhesive in holding the panel on a surface by forming a vacuum between the panel and the surface to which the panel is attached.
Vertical Joint System for a Surface Covering Panel
A vertical joint system (10a) for a surface covering panel P having an upper and lower surfaces (16, 18) a plurality of sides (20, 22, 24, 26) located between the upper and lower surfaces. The joint system (10a) has a male part (12) along at least one side (20) and a female part (14) along an opposite side (14). The female part (14) has a protrusion (54) that extends from the lower surface (18) and an outer most female surface (72) on the protrusion (54). The male part (12) has a recess (30) that opens onto the lower surface (18) with a portion of the recess (18) forming an inner most male surface (40). The outer most female surface (72) and the inner most male surface (40) arranged so that when the male part (12) of one surface covering panel is engaged with a female part (14) of a second surface covering panel the outer most female surface (72) overlies the inner most male locking surface (40) at a first location L1 and a second location L2. Datum surfaces (34, 62) are also provided on the male and female parts respectively that are pressed when the male and female parts contact at the location L1. This acts as a clasp to hold the male and female parts together, resisting vertical separation.
Method of manufacturing reinforced siding panels
One aspect of the disclosure is a method of manufacturing a siding panel including providing a siding panel having a front face, a rear face, top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge, providing a support member having a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a first face, and a second face, applying adhesive on a first face of the support member from one side edge of the support member to the other side edge of the support member, placing the support member on the rear face of the siding panel so the support member extends substantially from the first side edge to about ½ in. to about 2¼ in. away from the second side edge, completely securing the two side edges of a support member to the rear face of the siding panel, and laminating the support member to the siding panel.
Method and system for mounting wall panels to a wall
A method of assembling wall panels includes mounting a plurality of PVC fastening extrusions to a wall in a predetermined parallel, spaced apart relationship, each having a length much greater than a length of a wall panel and having two spaced apart resilient bent end securing walls extending from a base, each securing wall having a projection, each wall panel having a main wall panel and four bent end sections with recesses and corner openings, pressing a bent end section into the spacing between the securing walls to cause deformation and snapping back thereof a projection engages in a respective recess, sliding said wall panel along the parallel, spaced apart fastening extrusions to a desired position with the corner openings permitting said sliding action, and repeating the steps of pressing and sliding for additional wall panels.
