A stair system according to one illustrative embodiment comprises: a support body mountable in a wall and comprising a connecting region; a stair body; and a mounting apparatus. The mounting apparatus comprises: a connector connectable to the connecting region of the support body in any one of a plurality of different positions in the connecting region of the support body; and a holder configured to hold the stair body such that when the connector is connected to the connecting region of the support body, the stair body is spaced apart from the support body to permit a wall panel between the stair body and the support body. Wall assemblies comprising such stair systems are also disclosed.

A partition molding of a metal strip having a right angle cross-section with a vertical leg and a horizontal leg joined at a corner, the horizontal leg having a hem distal from the corner and projecting above a main part of the horizontal leg, the vertical leg having a series of regularly spaced holes for reception of drywall screws used to attach the molding to a wall whereby contact force between the molding and an overlying ceiling is concentrated at the hem and a reaction force can create a moment that serves to urge a lower edge of the vertical leg against a wall on which the molding is mounted.

An object of the present invention is to provide a water-blocking device that can be easily installed in a short time and can surely prevent water intrusion. The water-blocking device 1 includes a water-blocking plate 2, a first band 3 for fixing the water-blocking plate 2 to the installation surface 10, at least one first band passer 5 mounted near an installation location of the water-blocking plate on the installation surface 10, third band passers 7 mounted on left and right walls, etc., 11, 12 defining an entrance or exit S, and second bands 4 for fixing the water-blocking plate 2 to the walls, etc., 11, 12. The first band 3 is wound through the first band passer 5 and the second band passer 6 in such a manner that a pressing force toward the installation surface 10 is exerted onto the water-blocking plate 2. The second bands 4 are wound through third band passers 7 and fourth band passers 8 in such a manner that pressing forces toward the walls, etc., 11, 12, are exerted onto the water-blocking plate 2.

A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.

A veneer product and system includes a body having an aesthetic front surface and a back surface for installation adjacent the building. The body has a top side and a bottom side and a bracket attached to body and projecting away from the back surface of the body, the bracket further comprising a first end adjacent the top side for attachment to the building and a first protrusion for positioning the back surface a predetermined distance from the building and a second end having a second protrusion for positioning the bottom of the back surface a predetermined distance from the building and a bottom projection adjacent the bottom side for engagement with a second body to retain the bottom end of the veneer product.
