Narrow lined modular flooring assemblies
This specification describes a tray substrate for tile flooring that can be used in narrow grout line modular floating tile assemblies. The tray is preferably made of plastic and has vertical tray edges around the top of the tray substrate with upward and downward tabs protruding from the sides of the tray substrate wherein some of the tabs are at least partially recessed under the surface of the tray.
Locking connection assembly and mounting method
A snap-fit connection arrangement includes groove and tongue strips respectively having a groove and tongue, and first and second attachment regions for placement along first and second components, respectively. The groove and tongue strips respectively extend in first and second longitudinal directions transversely to their respective cross sections. Cross-sectional contours of the tongue and the groove correspond to each other through use of latching elements so that a snap-fit connection can be established as the tongue is inserted in a joining direction into the groove. The snap-fit connection allows for relative movement between the tongue and groove strips along at least one of the longitudinal directions and prevents relative movement between the tongue and groove strips transversely to at least one of the longitudinal directions. The tongue includes a latching recess comprising an undercut that extends along and within the tongue and is configured for latching engagement with a rib.
Panel, in particular floor panel, having sealing function, and panel system
Provided is a panel, in particular floor panel, with an upside, with a underside, with a first side edge, with a second side edge arranged opposite the first side edge, with a first locking element formed on the first side edge, with a second locking element formed on the second side edge. The first locking element and the second locking element are designed to correspond to one another, with a first bearing surface formed on the first side edge. The first abutment surface adjoins the upside, and with a second abutment surface formed on the second side edge. The second abutment surface adjoins the upside, in which the technical problem of preventing moisture and dirt from penetrating between the connected panels is solved.
PREFABRICATED MODULAR JOINING ASSEMBLY FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FLOORING AND METHOD FOR MAKING IT
A prefabricated modular joining assembly for an industrial flooring comprising a module including a prismatic body formed by two half-portions, being separated from one another by a deformable material zone, said half-portions being made of a synthetic resin and having a metal reinforcing framework embedded therein. The joining assembly is made by a method comprising the steps of: providing a box caisson; arranging a rubber membrane in the box caisson thereby separating two zones of the box caisson; arranging in the two zones a reinforcing metal framework; casting a resin material in the box caisson thereby embedding the reinforcing metal framework therein; removing, upon setting of the resin, the module thus formed; and applying the module in a recess formed in a floor at a joint to be restored.
Symmetric tongue and T-cross
A set including a first panel, a second panel and a mechanical locking device for locking the first panel to the second panel, the mechanical locking device includes an insertion groove at the second edge surface, a flexible tongue positioned in the insertion groove and an edge tongue including a tongue groove, the flexible tongue includes a first locking surface and a second locking surface, the first locking surface is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for locking of the first panel to the second panel in a first direction when the flexible tongue is positioned in the insertion groove in a first orientation, the second locking surface of the flexible tongue is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for a locking of the first panel to the second panel in a first direction when the flexible tongue is positioned in the insertion groove in a second orientation.
Method For Producing Floorboards, and Method For Sealing Connection Regions of a Floor Covering
The invention relates to a method for producing floorboards for a floor covering with at least partly coated end faces. A plurality of floorboards are provided, each of which has multiple end faces, and at least one of the end faces of the plurality of floorboards is at least partly coated with a material which can be biologically grown or a component of a material which can be biologically grown in order to form a respective at least partly coated end face. The invention additionally relates to a method for sealing connection regions of a floor covering which has multiple floorboards, wherein multiple floorboards are produced for a floor covering with at least partly coated end faces using an aforementioned method for producing floorboards, and the floorboards are arranged on an underlying surface such that one of the coated end faces of the floorboards contacts a respective other end face of another floorboard of the floorboards while at least partly forming a connection region. The material which can be biologically grown or a material which is made of the aforementioned component can be biologically grown is biologically grown, and the connection region between the coated end face and the other end face is sealed.
Panel, Covering, and Method for Manufacturing Such a Panel
The present invention relates to a panel, such as a floor panel, a wall panel or a ceiling panel, in particular a decorative floor panel. The invention also relates to a covering, in particular a floor covering, including multiple interconnected panels according to the invention. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a panel according to the invention.
VERTICAL JOINT SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED SURFACE COVERING SYSTEM
A vertical joint system for substrates is formed with joints which engage by relative motion in a direction perpendicular to major surfaces and of the substrate. The joints are configured to enable relative rotation of up to 3 degrees while maintaining engagement of the joints. The joints are further configured to form two locking planes one on each of the inner and outer most sides of the joint. Engagement about the locking planes is provided by transverse outward extending surfaces. At least one surface in each pair of engaging surfaces is smoothly curved. The joints can be further arranged to provide a third locking plane parallel to and between the locking planes. The joints are disengaged by combination of a downward rotation of one joint relative the other then application of a downward force.
INTEGRATED MODULAR FRAMES WITH FACTORY-AFFIXED TILES FOR GROUTLESS TILING
Interlocking modular tile frame units with factory-affixed tiles enable the installation of repeating hard tile patterns without the need for substrate adhesive (thin-set mortar) or grout. Each tile frame unit is precision-engineered to hold a hard tile that is affixed to the frame prior to delivery to the installation site, ensuring exact alignment and minimal joint width. The frame may be constructed from two or more integrated segments. The columns, which form a continuous perimeter around the tile, serve as a resilient grout replacement, eliminating the need for traditional grout. Mechanical connectors, including male and female types, are strategically positioned along the frame's exterior to enable secure end-to-end and side-to-side connection with adjacent units, supporting a variety of tile patterns such as grid and offset configurations. Optional features include cross support bars for added structural reinforcement, mud flaps for thinset mortar applications, and sound dampening pads for acoustic comfort. The grout replacement column is preferably manufactured from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for flexibility and durability, while other frame components are made from stain-resistant plastics such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polypropylene (PP). This system delivers a robust, groutless, and maintenance-friendly solution for modern hard tile installations, offering superior performance, ease of installation, and long-term aesthetic appeal.
